Currently waiting for a response for my wifes visa application

Received a call today from 01140106172 which is a sheffield number but I missed it. No voicemail left

Trying calling the number back but it just doesnt go through (no bell or anything)

So Im thinking what are the odds of getting a call from sheffield whilst waiting for a response and it not being the Home Office? But then why wont they leave a voicemail?

What shall I do in this situation? Shall i contact them myself? It has only been a month since the biometrics were done and i did not pay for priority service

might be a theme from Pretoria applications but i think it’s great that the entry clearance dates are ahead ... seems for most other countries by the time they receive their passport back almost 1-2 weeks have passed into their entry time!

I have to reapply as they don't accept new documents
so i'm reapplying now getting my new documents ready
ur reason i think they will overturn as it's a mistake from home office
mine was because i needed to provide additional documents and because i didn't provide them in previous application they won't accept
get in touch with the director general of home office if u google his email he will b able to help with ur case a lot faster he replied to me within a day and told me they won't accept but with urs insha allah it will be more positive

I actually emailed them and received three emails on the same day

1st email

"Thank you for your enquiry, we can confirm we have received your message.

We aim to respond to your email in 2 working days.

If you haven't heard from us after 2 working days, you can call us, quoting your reference number"

2nd email

"Thank you for the information you have provided.

We escalated your case to the relevant department .

You should be contacted regarding your case as soon as possible.

Your patience is highly appreciated"

3rd email

"Thank you for using UKVI Contact Centre Services for enquiry Reference #xxxxxxxxx. We hope that we answered your enquiry to your satisfaction. Please take a moment to complete our short survey."

What does this mean?

They have said in the second email that they have escalated my case. Why?

I just made a simple enquiry asking if they called me.

Then the final email says that we hope we have answered your enquiry but they havent though

Can someone help?

HM Passport Office person named email address removed by moderator. Kindly do not post names of HMPO or HO staff on the forum. HMPO also do NOT deal with visas!!!

Received email saying case not straight forward in October 25/ 2018 and received second email requesting marriage certificate.

I escalated the case on 10/12/18
Receive email 20/12/18 saying same thing case not straight forward and can't give timescale.
Escalated case 20/1/19 Receive email few days later saying same case not straight.

I've got intouch with the MP 29/01/19. received call 05/02/19 back from MP saying HO request marriage certificate and they still haven't received it. I told her I send it to them via email 25/October 2018 so I send a copy of email to the mp. MP told me she will write a letter and will send copy of my email to HO.
Received Email from MP on 22/02/19 saying that HO hasn't got back yet ..
It's been 29 weeks since bio metrics days and still nothing. This has caused me and my wife so much stress and anxiety..

17 December receive Email From visainfo.shefo Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.
And i,m waiting about 14 week.i,m not.receive any Email then 25 days ago i was called to Ukvi thei said the decision is made but you wait for Email still now i,m.not receive any Call from.vfs and.email what should i.do.?

Contact them again. This is ridiculous. You should have been on their case every other day after they you told that a decision was made. What are you waiting for?

Hey

I too have been waiting for a while now. I rang them up on 29/01/19 asking for an update and was advised that a decision had been made on 28/01/19 and that i should wait to hear from vfs. 2 weeks went by nothing so decided to call thrm again last week to only be told that a decision had been made on 14/02/19 and that i should wait for rhe passport. Upon telling the advisor that I rang 2 weeks prior to that and was told that a decision was made back in January the guy seemed a little confused and just said that there was an update on the system and all that it said was decision made 14/02/19.
I don't know what to do now. Asked my fiance to ting the vfs back in Bangladesh to see if they have received her passport but guess what? Number doesnt work...

Did you know that from today 6,3,19 you can not check the status of your application via tls contact web site. As if we didn't have enough stress from H.O delaying people's case and now they don't even let you check if decision has been made or not.. thank you H.O for been so helpful. Just destroying family & relationship for innocent people

i just try to check but its dosent allowe
the other things its was decasion of 100% made in 6 months but niw they change to 3 month
thats mean the process will be in 3 months its was 6 months
that what i seen on website
