THO wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 1:34 pmRexa,
It won't hurt, but they can't do a great deal except write in support of your application, so I recently found out. Your MP might be able to get them to look into your case a bit quicker though, so in your situation I would certainly make the effort to call his office and let the PA know you will be emailing the MP about your case.
Good luck.
THO.
Firstly I’m sorry to hear about the refusal. Really hope and pray you get it this time around.THO wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 2:08 pmMine has been as helpful as he can be, and he even called me back and gave me some advice after reading my wife's spouse refusal letter. So I took his advice and he will write and support the appeal, and hopefully provide some influence for the H/O to look at our case quicker for work related reasons.

Thought I would jump in on this one as I have just found this forum and can see many others around the world waiting. Currently on WD 51 having called the really (un)useful call centre for an extortionate price they told me they had to make a decision by 6th September. If not we can escalate it. What happens remains to be seen!
We originally applied back in February on the 6 month marriage visa. it got declined in April - Lack of evidence. We were destroyed! We sought some legal advice and got some help from a solicitor as not to mess it up after being bitten by it the first time! So here we are 7 months later.
My wife is starting to get itchy feet and I am starting to get agitated myself.
Many others are in worse situations that ourselves so I send best wishes to everyone. I do not think anyone knows stress until they attempt a settlement visa for the UK.
Hang in there guys!

On my 102nd working day since application and was told by UKVI they cannot provide a timescale as to when a decision would be made.
I wish you and everyone struggling including myself all the very best.
Take care mate..

biometric 6 august, and yes it was priority
If you look at the timelines, it’s more common that a decision will be made between 25-30WD.tehussain wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 5:37 pmmarsupilami wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 5:31 pmSasaogs wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 4:27 pmWhen was your biometric and is it prioritymarsupilami wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 12:46 pmI email the UKVI contact centre to be updated about my application..."still awaiting a decision".

You're still only on 16 working days. My decision was made on the 19th working day and we were notified on the 22nd working day.
If everything was in order, you'll get a decision by next week probably.
My husband made application same date as yours JamaicaSasaogs wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 9:53 amsmithy101 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 2:52 pmEmail received on 23 August 2019 (day 36 of priority service)smithy101 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 8:41 amAny updates??smithy101 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 9:39 amApplying from: Jamaica
