Successful application cover letter example

Post by AstroMF » Wed Jul 19, 2023 6:41 pm

Hello,
I just wanted to share our successful aplication's Cover letter. As I didn't find many good examples myself when I was making the application. Hopefully this will help someone
If I have time maybe I'll post more from our application as there is not enough information out there and the existing ones conflict with others.
Sponsor letter is similar to this, just less, it's more about housing and financial situation.

17 June 2023
Spouse visa application of
NAME, Kazakh
DOB: ***
Passport NO: ****

To whom it may concern,

I, NAME, am writing this letter to you, to inform you of our decision to apply for a
spouse visa. My husband SPONSOR NAME, a settled person in the UK, with full settled status will
be my sponsor in the UK.
Relationship
SPONSOR and I first met on 15th September 2021 when I first came to the UK on a seasonal work
visa to work in FARM ADDRESS, UK and SPONSOR was working there.
From then we started talking at work. On 4th November 2021 I messaged him on Facebook
Messenger. From that point our relationship started. On 14th November we became a couple.
We developed and strengthened our relationship by meeting up daily while at work and after
work and daily messages and calls.
I’ve met and got along well with his parents and sisters.
Eventually I had to go back to Kazakhstan as my visa finished, but everyday we would message
and call on Facebook messenger keeping in touch with each other and building our relationship.
On the 19th April 2022 we went to Turkey to meet up and stay there for 3 weeks.
When we came back we started discussing our wedding plans.
On 8th September 2022 I came back to the UK with another work visa. We got married on 17th of
December 2022 in ADDRESS, UK Registration office with SPONSOR'S family and my sister there.
Went on a short honeymoon and spent holidays with SPONSOR'S family.
On the 3rd of March 2023 me and SPONSOR went to Kazakhstan to meet my family and relatives,
stayed there for a week and went back.
Now I’m currently working a temporary job while we’re waiting for the visa process to finish.
We’re maintaining daily communication on Facebook messenger, calls and messages as we are
apart now.
Supporting documents included:
Chats.pdf Our chats for the times that I was back in Kazakhstan and our first messages.
Flights.pdf Our flight tickets. My tickets to and back from the UK, SPONSOR tickets to and back
from Kazakhstan and our trip to Turkey.
MarriageCert.pdf Our marriage certificate
Photos.pdf A few photos from times that we spent together in UK, Turkey. Our wedding, and

Financial Requirements
My husband SPONSOR NAME will be my sponsor, he meets financial requirements of Category A of
£18600/year as we do not have any children.
He is employed by COMPANY NAME, and has been working there since 16.05.2022. He works as
a **.
He is getting paid £12.50/hour as of 1st January 2023 and £11.20/hour before then. He works a
rotating shift, on average of 40.25 hours/week.
His actual average gross annual salary: £23206
He does not receive and we’re not going to need any government funds now or when I come to
live with him.
I’ve made a mistake on the application on the annual income and wrote £21600. It

My sponsor meets housing requirements with his parents (NAMES) renting the property from COMPANY NAME AND CONTACTS.
SPONSOR has contacted LANDLORD for permission if I would be allowed to join the household and they
agreed to it. As soon as I have the visa we need to contact them and I will be added to the
tenancy.
SPONSOR's parents are allowing me to stay there in one of the double bedrooms with SPONSOR.

Future plans
Now we are planning to live, work and build our family permanently in England. At the beginning
we are going to stay at SPONSOR's parents’ place until we get our own place. We have been
looking around for jobs and housing. Will stay somewhere in the Boston area at the beginning
until we get settled.
Later we’re thinking of looking into or moving to the Sheffield area as both of us like that area.
I’m planning to start my career as a network engineer and/or continue studying for a master
degree. We love travelling and trying different cultures' food so probably we are going to travel a
lot in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
