Surrogacy and entry to the UK via a Visitor Visa

Hello, 

I am a UK Born British citizen expecting a child via surrogate in Columbia. After the child is born I want to bring the child to the UK where I will look to register the child as a British citizen, as I understand the child is British by decent as I am their biological father.

I can get a Colombian passport for the child very fast after birth in Columbia. And I will be the registered father on the birth certificate and documentation.

Would anyone know what visa I would need to get for the child to enter the UK with me as fast as possible which is my primary goal.

the .Gov site is really confusing and I’m not sure what Visa to specifically apply for and the turns around time for it. It seems like a standard Visitor Visa is applicable as I would not need it for more than 6 months
