Hi

I didn’t want to create a separate topic for this so i am asking here.

So my husband got the spouse visa and we had an email on Friday 18th September in the afternoon. The email was sent to our solicitor as we applied through him.

Today is the 7th working day and neither we or our solicitor have received the BRP card. Is it normal for it to take this long? The letter says it should arrive within 7 working days.

If a anyone could please comment if there is a delay or if this normal?

Thanks
Selina

Today is still 7th day, some get it before the stated days lapses, some after. Exercise some patience and ensure someone or solicitor is available to receive it from delivery courier.

Hypothetically, it takes 7-10 days

Thank you to you both for your help.

Today is the 10th day.

We called the solicitor who said if it doesn’t arrive today then we well contact them.

I am just wondering though, is it common for the BRP not to arrive within 10 days? If so, why could this be?

It may not be common but does happen and could be due to any reason with covid-19 the usual scape 🐐. Just hope for yours to arrive or be able to tell you when to expect it when you reach them.
