Tuberculosis test - UK Spouse Visa from Jordan

I am looking to apply for a spouse visa for my wife who is Jordanian

The uk gov website shows that jordan is not in the listed countries

However further research shows that it is required in uk gov page dated at jan 2018

I’m confused if she will need it or not

By the look of it, the UK HO have removed the TB test requirement from Jordan. A little research on TB incidence in Jordan compared with eg Iraq or Pakistan, they have a significantly higher prevalence whereas Jordan is very very low in comparison. Seems to make sense. Maybe it is worth emailing home office (I think it's £2.74) and asking if the TB test is still required?

They are not on the list according to Appendix T
