UKVI Account

I applied for my spouse FLR-M in a visa office (went to biometric appointment). I have been trying to login into my UKVI account but it is not recognizing my passport or BRP. Now I get it, it seems that I don't have a UKVI account because I did not use the app.

My questions after unable to find an answer online:
- how can I create an account (if possible)?
- what is a good source for updates on the digitizing process? I read that HO will contact people telling them to start creating their accounts.

What 'digitising update' are you referring to? The phasing out of BRP Cards??

I read that HO will contact people telling them to start creating their accounts.

Where did you read that? None of us on the forum have any inside information. Simply wait to see when UKVI updates on this issue.

Note that a BRP card will still be issued if approved with a 31 December 2024 card expiry date.

I am trying to get a status verification code (not the one for work or rent).

If you read under "How do I get an eVisa and a UKVI account?"

It does clearly state that they will be providing updates. It does not say it is already live and active.

I received the invitation today and was able to create an IDCheck - UKVI account, all good.

Does anyone know how to change the picture? I see that it has some shades on my head, and I would like to apply for driver's license.

You'd have to reach out to UKVI on that.

Wouldn't a picture on a license be completely different from this?
