If you mean that you were last employed & paid on April 2019 then you can't fulfill the criteria because your earnings will be way older than 12 months.
It does matter I'm afraid. If you're planning to meet the financial requirement through employment, you need to be employed on the date of application.
Apologies, I should have specified. My employment ran from April 2019 - September 2019 and is over the £18.5k threshold.
Where have you returned from travelling? Are you in UK or outside of UK? Also do you know that fiancee visa can only be applied from outside of UK?
During the present financially volatile situation hardly any new employer will offer you fixed wages (salaried employment) which is one of the way to meet the requirement of category B.
