Visa for baby born outside UK to ILR parents

Hello,

My wife & I have got our ILR in July 2019. Our baby was born in India in Oct 2019. Now I'd like to bring my child to UK. I understand that as my baby is born to ILR parents outside UK, I cannot apply British passport for her. Can you let me know my options and visa type please?

No. Set F can only be applied for within the UK. You can't apply for it outside the UK. You need to apply for a child settlement visa from link I have provided. Cost is £1523 and you might have to pay IHS. Child should be granted ILE (indefinite leave to enter).

I have started the application for - confirm if that is accurate:

Hello, I am reading from this link that the child settlement visa under Appendix FM is only granted for 2.5 years. Would that I mean I would need to either extend the visa or apply for citizenship within the granted period.

Alternatively is there a " In-definite Leave to Remain" route for the child?
