Visit or tourist

Post by babico » Wed Feb 05, 2020 9:25 am

Hi
I am filling my spouse visa extension form and the part that say country
details. add another country the applicant has visited or lived.
My questions are what is the difference between visit and tourist ? because
my husband and I travelled the southern African countries for 3 years as
tourist before coming back to the UK and I have not been back to my birth
country neither my has my husband been back to the UK since 2013 until we
both came back to the UK in 2016
do I have to fill in the countries?
it's all so confusing.
please can some one help me here.
Thanks
Anna

Visitors is as a tourist on holiday or for business.

Lived is where you have lived, ie your home, work etc.

There is a distinct difference between the two.

Thanks, does that mean i will have to list or insert all the countries of the years (2013 to 2016) that we were not in our birth country?
Thanks

This appears so I.E. list of all countries travelled to that were not your country of birth or residence.

That should be OK, you have entered the details as per available slots.
Hope you started the entries from the most recent travels?
