Immigration/Visa Question (Musician)

Post by breebree » Sat Jul 05, 2014 1:16 am

Hello,

I've been having a rough time at finding any information about this, so I was hoping someone here might be able to give me some advice. I'm a musician (vocalist) from the United States, and have come to the UK to take part in a rock band. I was granted a 2 month stay (luckily), so we're only focused on recording. However, my problem is, I don't know if the Entertainer Visitor Visa is applicable in this instance because the band is still underground, and isn't sponsored by anyone. Is there anyway I can go about being granted a stay here, or to be able to relocate here to be involved in this project?

Not sure but I doubt it unless you are a recognised artist.

I am. I have an extensive portfolio that's over 10 years deep. My experience in the business, and talent of voice has made it that this band wants me over any EU national they could find. I'm just not sure how to go about any of it.
