T1 - Impact on Age due to delays in application processing

Dear All,

I am trying get an appointment to apply for Tier 1 in person, unfortunately all slots are booked. If I am applying through post will they consider my age from the day they receive my application or from the day when they start assesing..?

Please help me with the information.
