impact of H1B refusal on UK Student Visa

my H1B visa was refused in sep2005 due to some fake experience letter, now i am planning to apply for UK student visa with full Genuine documents.
1.will there be any effect on my UK student visa?
2. what reason should i write in application?
3. will they(UK embassy) cross check the reason with US embassy?
please suggest me to take proper care......
