Important WP Question?

Post by sheedatali » Wed Jun 18, 2008 4:28 pm

Hi guys,

I am planning to switch my employer for a different job but in the same field and along same line of work. I have following concerns/questions.

1. Is the application going to be under Tier1 or still old WP system, we are planning to make application within next week.
2. At my current employer, they made the application, then home sent an approval letter to them. At which point I had to make another application separately qouting ref number from letter recieved. My question is, can it be done in one go?

3. If it is still a two staged process then is it safe for me to hand in my notice (1 month) to current employer after my new employer has recieved the approval letter after initial application ?

Looking forward to get your suggestions.

Thanks
Sheeda

Tends to be a two stage process, you should wait until you have possession of the HO approval letter of the new work permit or tier 1-2-3 visa before resigning...things can go wrong with the new application and you don't want to loose your job
