Income Tax Clearance cer4tificate

Post by Alagomeji » Wed Dec 15, 2004 1:33 pm

Hey y'all,
I have been asked by my case officer to send my Income Tax certificate. In Nigeria, this is relatively difficult to come by, but fortunately my office normally collects them for us. As a result of this, I do have a certificate up until January 2003, (which incidentally was issued in may), but my application is dated June 2004. What I need to know is this: Do I have to apply for yet another income tax certificate (I can get that, but it might take some time) or will that last one be alright?
By the way the period the tax clearance does cover still meets the earning requirements of the application.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, BUT UNBOWED

I just got a response from my case worker telling me that what I have right now will be sufficient because it covers the majority of the 12 months preceeding the application. He however advised me to provide as much extra documentation to cover the rest of the period. I will send this ASAP (no need to waste any more time I think). I will keep you all informed of my progress
