I am writing here as I am faced with an unusual situation. I requested for renewal of my Stamp 1g permission as spouse of stamp 4 holder, and I have done this for the last 3 years. I received email confirmation that my application is approved as usual. I got the post today and it had my spouses renewed Stamp 4 permission- which he didn’t renew as his current Stamp 4 was still valid till next year. My process is now closed and I needed this to join in a new company, where now they are delaying my start date. I have emailed the department of justice but haven’t received any response
. I do not know what to do now and I don’t know who to contact 
. Has anyone else faced such an odd issue where they complete renewed another IRP instead of yours and if yes, how did you get it corrected and how long did it take.Thank you in advance for your feedback and responses.
