Post by shakal » Tue Sep 16, 2008 10:22 am

And in this 5 years he changed couple of sponser without informing to the authoristies i, e, ho. He worked for the other sponsers not for his original one. So in this case what is the chances of ILR

Need your urgent help he is dreaming for his ILR.

No chance if you are not working for the employer (who sponsored) you.

When you apply for ILR HO, will call your employer to ask if he still needs you.

Submission of tax is a seconary issue.

UKBA know very well that there are a number of bogus companies in the UK which do not have vacancies at all but able to sponspr WP in exchange for cash.

Hopeful your friend do not belongs to this categories. It is highly unfair in case they could be granted ILR after deception, in the meanwhile honest people who go into tough procudere get rejected.

I would be very wary of applying for ILR in your friend's case. The number of checks being applied to WP ILR claims has increased. It is not unusual for the records supplied to be examined and tested against the records of other government departments or agencies. It is far easier now to get hold of information from HMRC & DWP to check your claims.

If along the way the orginal sponsor has stopped trading or has been closed down that will also show up like a distress flare.

The days of rubber stamping WP ILR applications without much thought or care have past. The new regime wants to see more sucess in dealing with immigration offenders. Targets do not solely focus on how many applications are dealt with, they want to up the number of offenders identified and are willing to drop the through put to get better quality decisions.
