Indefinite leave to remain as husband, set (m)

Post by sasa9200 » Mon Apr 03, 2006 9:55 pm

Dear all,

I did apply for my indefinite leave to remain as husband for a British national. Our paper work was not complete (for her) but was complete for me. It was due to she is not having good job, no credit cards and so on, also we have moved 3 times in the past 3 years. We sent some photographs tougher and a covering letter from her explaining for example our 1st place bills was including and a letter from the landlord to say so. And also we said the second place was pay as you go electricity and no gas. I’m really worried. I don’t know what the answer will be and what is going too happened in the worst case.
Any one can help?

Hi, what evidence have you actually got that proves that the two of you have lived together for the past two years?

You applied for ILR and got refused? When was that? Have you appealed?

hii,,

I did apply one week ago, no news yet, I did apply for her some bank statements from last year, some pay slips, our current house council tax shared name bill, shared electric bill, shared water bill, her phone bill (land line), letter from her explaining that the 1st 6 month she don’t have enough as for example our 1st place the rent was including the bills, and it was only for 4 month as we were waiting for anther flat in better place near my work. Also she was working part time and had no credit card or any kind of these monthly things. Also I sent a letter from my 1st land lord saying that the bills were in the rent and we both were living there. I don’t know what could happen in this situation. Also sent some photo graphs for us in holiday (about 5) and her passport which has a visa and entry stamp to my country when she was in visit there, Please tell me what can happen in the worst situation. Thanks

Hopefully it will all work out fine. All you can do is wait and see.
Please tell me what can happen in the worst situation.
If they think that there is some doubt then they might ask for more information. It is also within their power to issue a further time-limited visa, rather than ILR, and indeed they could reject the application all together.

For example, if you have quite sufficient evidence for the last 18 months, but not enough proof for the first six months, then they might issue a further time-limited visa for six months. Then in six months time you would need to make a further application for ILR, and yes, pay a further application fee of £335 or £500.

Hopefully it will not come to that.
