indefinite leave to remain qualification period

Post by ayakici » Sun Dec 13, 2009 3:12 am

I have started my working life in the UK with a 'Limited leave to remain' visa via scottish fresh talent in December 2005. A 1.5 year later my company applied for a work permit which I have been working under since then. Next December (Dec 2010) it will be 5 years overall.

Do you think I would be qualified for residency?

I am told that the duration I worked under fresh talent would not qualify towards residency. However, if that is the case it is so unfair cause I have never changed my company and it will literally 5 years nonstop working in the UK.

AIUI, FT-WISS visa only count's towards 10 year long residency, so either wait until Dec 2015, or May 2012 under WP.
