indefinite leave to remain

Post by coroy » Mon Jul 14, 2008 11:36 am

Good day! I came here last November 1,2003 to work at one of the NHS Trust full time 37 1/2hrs per week pre and post adaptation under work permit but with student visa for 6 months and then was given limited to remain visa from May 25,2004. I dont know why they issued me student visa while I`ve got working permit and full time job. I will be 5 years on Nov. 1,2008, can I apply an Indefinite leave to remain visa? Thank you and look forward to your reply

Your time line is a bit unclear. Please post when you were issued visas, what types of visas they were and their expiry dates in chronological order.

That's a blast from the past. So you were issued a work permit but were issued Entry Clearance saying student visa. You may have a problem since for ILR, AFAIR, you need to have been admitted in the country to work on that WP.
