Cancelling your app

Post by sam2106 » Wed Jul 04, 2012 9:19 am

Don't recall your application and ask for your passport back..you at the very near of this..you, you only have another maximum 3 weeks to wait, it could be anytime soon now...

Once you've cancelled your application, you wont have your fee refunded and you will have to start from scratch next time with this new biometric thing...also do you have any current visa left if you want to cancel your app?

Thanks @sam2106...I don't have any current visa left and yes worried that i have to start from scratch...I have to travel by end of July latest and i am hoping to get it by this week or next. If I recall apparently it takes 15 days, so worried that i may not get it ontime before my travel. Its appauling how they let people suffer for several months for the amount of money we pay. Why can't they process everything by 3 months max and complicated ones within 6 months by the very late!

The person who came up with the 6 months service period..their pp should be taken from them for 6 months and left in a lurch..they'll then change the procedures.

HO should get more staff with the money we pay to process the applications faster..6 months wait for a British passport, I don't think the British would tolerate...

anyway rant over!!

KM chill..it's not British passport you have applied for..it's Indefinite Leave to remain

If i were you, with no visa, I would not have requested my passport back end of July is a lot to go, I would have gambled that technically speaking, you would be getting it by the end of July anyway...but thats just me..

If you cancel..you don't have a visa..you will have to reapply for the indefinite leave back home..you will have to pay another same fee..

where you going end of July, are you going to get married or something? Can't you hold for a little bit more..
