I know the wait can be exremely painful, but I think the HO is working really slow at the moment, it may even be that you were allocated a very lazy case worker, give it until the end of next week, in the meantime search your MP online, find out how to contact them and they should be able to get some answers from HO. I did contact my MP, at the town hall, where she normally meet with residents who need her assistance, twice per month.

GOOD LUCK

Application fee

Post by Chemu » Fri Aug 17, 2012 4:32 pm

I was just going through the new application to check the changes. Could someone please confirm that the application fee has been reduced. I paid £972 in March and the fee now is £842. That is not like UKBA.

Sorry, the fee has actually increased to £991. Had looked on a wrong form. Ignore my earlier posts.

I know someone who received the acknowledgement after 1 month. Has your payment been taken? There is no harm in ringing the UKBA and checking though.

Sorry I messed up my message.

I wanted to ask if anybody know UKBA's fax number? Someone posted it some time ago but I can't find it anymore. I looks UKBA usually reply to faxes.

I'm now really worrid about my application. I posted my application early march but am still waiting. I moved home during this period and I'm worried that this might have screwed things up.

I sent my application on 18/08/2012
Just checked Royal Mail Tracking saying it was delivered on 20/08/12

I'd like to think my case is fairly straightforward

3 years student - 1 years segs - 1 year student - 5 years old work permit.

Now its a waiting game and my stress levels are a bit higher than usual.
