I am really really sorry about your situation

Contact your MP immediately... give him/her as much details as possible regarding your Dad's health condition (like doctor letter, hospital reports, bills etc)...

I am sure if he/She is a reasonable MP they will help you to expedite your case as soon as possible...

Im eligible for LR in Sep 2013.and Im applying for SAR today as well..

1)In past Applied student visa with out passport .As passport was still with Tier2 HO, but expecting refusal. Do you think my student application is in time.As expected Tier2 refused and Student approved.
Due to this switching I got gap from Dec 2007-Mar 2008.

2) In 2008 my student visa approved from one college, studied and acquired PSW from another college. Does this effect LR?

Help

Post by naqeeb » Thu Jul 25, 2013 4:37 pm

I applied for LR in august last year and was refused stating i didnt provide the life in UK test certificate (which i did and misplaced by UKBA) but got a 2 year limited leave to remain visa in February this year so i can pass the life in UK test.

I want to find out if i can bring my wife from India as a dependent? Not sure if i can bring my wife before getting the indefinite leave to remain.

Thanks in advance

Post by amjadleeds » Fri Jul 26, 2013 2:09 am

Hi everyone

Please any one help me clear my view point that can I extend my Tier1 leave which was expired mid of March, my ILR is still pending from Oct 2012 don't know what will be happen, at least I have leave to remain. or it is possibly to extend leave after decision within certain days, I havn't found any answer any where, now doubt 3c extend my leave during ILR in process, but either I can claim my extension in case of refusal.

Please need your views and expertise advice.

Hi Amjad,
I was just thinking if you were to apply for Tier-1 extension, you would need original documents again., which you would have submitted with HO when you filled for your ILR. So until and unless you revoke your earlier application get the documents back only then you would be able to apply.

I would suggest just to wait and pray..and you would definitely get the ILR approval soon...I assume they working on oct/nov applications now...who knows letter of approval is in you mailbox tomorrow.

If you have all other required docs for Tier 1,certainly can apply with out passports by including HO acknowledgement letter by saying passport under ILR consideration. But You might need your passports ready when Tier1 request.
This is my own experience, In 2008 I applied for student with out passport , while my tier 2 under process with passport & docs.Later submitted passport when Tier 2 refused and got student approval.

And also Please seek Professional advice as well. You will be alright..

Hope this Helps.

Urgent advise needed. Passport validity six months rule

Post by smshad » Sat Jul 27, 2013 10:20 am

Hi everyone,

I have booked in person appointment for my wife’s ILR at Croydon office on 9th August 2013 and I have already paid £100.00 booking fee. She was granted FLR (M) in June 2013.

I have just realised that my wife’s passport will expire on 15 December, 2013 so we have less than six months validity for her passport. I know that if we apply for visa outside the UK then they require at least six months validity. I could not find any guidance for passport validity rule for applying inside the UK.

Does the six months validity of passport rule applies for the visa applications made within UK? Anyone with similar experience or knowledge, please advise.
Thanks.
Shad.

. Hi jony_dhaka, in one of your previous post you critisized us with wife and kids even grand kids that we stay here as so called student and got so many kids and you are feeling luckey that you are not marrid and have no kids. I haven't been back home last 9 years but still don't feel lonely because i have my wife and my two kids with me, i know we suffer a lot but still never feel lonely mate. Pls don't underestimate anybody because you never know what people have and you might not have. No hard feelings. Goodluck.

it is really worrying here people are waiting even after 6 months...

It is like an in-country arrest. I don't know whether this kind of law exists in any other country. Honestly I feel so depressed.
