ILR- Tier 1 Entrepreneur Migrant

Post by Nop » Wed Jan 27, 2021 12:21 pm

Hello there,

The UKVI sent that later date 10 June 2016 with their Ref. number to inform me that my Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant was granted on 15 June 2016 until 15 October 2019, an extension on 24 October 2019 until 24 October 2021. I am preparing to apply for ILR up to 28 days before I will reach the end of the qualifying period. My enquries are:

1. The earliest date (28 days qualifying period) that I am able to apply for my ILR i.e within 28 days of 10 June 2021, 15 June 2021, or 20 June 2021 (what is the issue date?).
1. Do I have to submit Directors Loan Agreement and Share Certificate again to UKVI since I had submitted when I applied for my extension?
2. If it is so, can I submit the ones that I submitted when I applied for my extension.
3. Do I have to submit Business Rate Bill, Lease for Business Premises, Deed of Variation - Lease?
4. My business is engineering consultant and use the house as an office and no business ratye bill. What type of supporting document that I should submit.

I would appreciate for your kind response on the above matters.
Kind regards

Thank you very much marcnath for your kind and promt response on the matters.
May I ask the following questions:
1. In the Set (o) form under Section 9B – Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrants, A - Registration (A1-A4). Do we need to tick on boxes because those are related to documents when I submitted during an extension? Or we tick them but do not need to submit supporting documents because they have been awards points last grant of visa extension.
2. Section 8 - Photographs
'It is mandatory to provide the relevant photographs specified below. Please note that this
application will be invalid if you do not provide them.''
Do I need to send my 2 recent identical passport-size photographs with my full name written on the
back of each photograph to UKVI via post?
3. Section 11 - Documents under 11A All applicants
"Your current passport or travel document. If you last entered the UK on a previous passport
or travel document, please also provide this document if you have it.''
''Any previous passports or travel documents you have held during your stay in the UK. ''
Do I need to send all of passport to UKVI via post or just tick those 2 boxex and scan all pages of passport and uploaded to UKVI?
4. Section 7 - Personal history
Personal history (criminal convictions, war crimes, etc.)
I have no criminal convictions etc. Is it helpful or necessary to submit my supporting document with a criminal record certificate which I can apply from GOV.UK under a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)?

I would appreciate for your kind response on the above matters.
Kind regards

I am not very familiar with the online application as I can't access those myself. And I haven't been following the COVID related changes too closely. But I understand you still need to make an appointment after applying online and need to take all originals to that appointment.
I'll let someone else answer 1 to 3
On 4. , no you don't need to provide any supporting documents

I just checked my online ILR form and there are no sections. I would ask you to rephrase your specific questions and ask the questions as it is in the online form for us to answer.

Hi CULLINAN,

I am sorry that I took the Set (O) version 10/2014 which was an old version. I have a look at the lastest version which is version 07/2018. I have rephrased my specific questions as follow:

1. Under Section 9A – Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrants, page 31. After my Tier 1 (entrepreneur) visa issued on 15 June 2016 and I registerd and start my only 1 business and I have been a director of the company. My question is do I have to fill in the table on page. 31 under Engaged in business activity
at the time of the application and Job creation only. The rest of them are not relevent for my ILR, am I right?

2. Under Section 11 - Passport, travel document or national identity card, page 77.
''11.1 Providing your valid passport, national identity card or travel document
11.1.1 Which document are you providing? (please tick at least one box)''

If I tick passport box. Do I have to send my passport to UKVI via post or just scan all pages of passport and uploaded to UKVI?

3. Under Section 11 - Passport, travel document or national identity card, page 77. In the table provised, they require to fill in number of photograph (2 photos I presume).

Do I need to send my 2 recent identical passport-size photographs with my full name written on the back of each photograph to UKVI via post?
They also ask for ''Police registration certificates''. I don't have it. If it is essential, how do I obtain it?

4. Page 9 under 1.10 Home Office reference? Does it has any effect to the application if I do not fill it in because in the letter from UKVI Bangkok that they sent to me with their ref. BANGKOK\xxxxxxx (xxxxxxx are 7 digit number) and I think I cannot fill in to the box provied (8 boxes which if I put fill in BANGKOK\ then I cannot fill in the number)

I would appreciate for your kind response on the above matters.
Kind regards

There is NO version for SET(O) online form. Are you sure you are applying with the right link??

https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/set-o

Are you talking about the guidance??

You should use the above link to apply and come back with specific questions in the online form.

Hello there,

I’m preparing documents for my ILR application. Regarding the issue of spending the continuous period lawfully in the UK, with absences from the UK of no more than 180 days in any 12 calendar months during that 5 years period, I am preparing my details of dates left UK, dates returned to UK and also details of the pages in passports where there are entry stamps when I entered UK. But in term of departure or exit from UK, there is no exit stamp. Therefore I requested entry/exit records from UKVI Subject Access Request Unit (SARU) on 14 Jan 2021 and received it on 17 Feb 2021. Can I provide these records to UKVI as an attachment to support my ILR application because the document is from one of the department (SARU) of UKVI. However, it is mentioned in the note of the entry/exit records that “disclosure of this information to a third party must be authorized, on a case by case basis, by the NBTC.” I would not have any evidence of my exit as there are no exit stamps in my passport, only entry stamps are shown. My enquiries are:
1. Is it necessary to show an evidence of my exit?
2. If it is so, what kind of evidence of my exit that I should show to UKVI?
3. Is it harmful if I send my entry/exit records from UKVI Subject Access Request Unit (SARU) to UKVI as a supporting document for my ILR application?
Kindly advise.

Hi there, it may help you
I also applied for TIER1 ILR in April 2020 during lockdown. Case worker emailed me, stating
Can you please send me scanned copies of all passports, all pages so that I could calculate your absences from UK.
You should upload scanned copies of all passports all pages. It will be fine. Don't worry about EXIT stamps

Current Appointment Reports

Post by Nop » Wed Apr 28, 2021 12:54 pm

Dear Sir, I am on Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa. Granted on 15 June 2016, extension on 24 October 2019 and about to apply for ILR on 19 May 2021. I am trying to order the Current Appointment Reports from WebCHeck from the Companies House. A staff from the Companies House informed me that the company report (I am not sure that it is Current Appointment Reports) is replaced by the Company Snapshot. My enquiry is: the Company Snapshot is the same as Current Appointment Reports?
Please help. Thank you very much.

Hello there,

I just contacted the Companies House this morning and asked a person who received my phone call. He informed me that the current appointments report and the company snapshot are quite similar but they are not the same. Therefore, I ordered the current appointments report from the Companies House for GBP 3 and they sent it to my email a few minutes after the end of conversation. Regards

28 days ILR application for T1 (Entrepreneur)

Post by Nop » Tue May 18, 2021 7:49 am

Hello there, I am on Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant. My information are as follows:

- Tier 1 (Entrepreneur visa) issued on 15 June 2016
- Landed in the UK on 20 June 2016.
- Extension on 24 October 2019 - 24 October 2021

I understood that I can apply for my ILR 28 days before completing 5 years. Normally the completing date is the date before the issued date but I am not sure for the UKVI. That is why I raised this issue so that it may also benefit to others.

Enquires:
1. I am not sure that my completing 5 years date is 14 June 2021 or 15 June 2021?
2. Can I apply on 18 May 2021 or 19 May 2021 ?

Please clarify on the matters. Kind regards.
