Hi everyone,
May I ask a question here?
My situation is that I have been working on Tier 2 visa for 3.5 years. I found out that I was eligible for a Global Talent visa at the end of last year. So, I applied for 1 year of GTV in December and just got it in early January just two days ago.
According to the GTV regulation, time spent on Tier 2 visa can also be counted towards the 3 years' requirement for IRL. So, I think that I am already eligible to apply for IRL despite that I just obtained it a few days ago.
One of the documents required for the IRL application for GTV holders is an employer letter confirming I have earned money under the Global Talent visa.
So, my question is can I submit my IRL application now? Should I wait for a month until I get paid this month on the GTV visa? Do I have to receive at least one payment from my employer before submitting IRL application?
Thank you very much.
