My test initially booked on 7 May, then I got rescheduled automatically to 25 June, then last friday I managed to find a time slot on 2 June in Hounslow.

I did my test on the 2nd, two days ago, my appointment was at 15:00, arrived at 14:00, there was only a few other ppl, I didn't need to wait, and went straight in to take the test.

The test are pretty similar to the online mocks you can find through google.

If you are still looking for booking the test, keep checking the website, there might be available slots been updated from time to time. You may get surprise as I did to manage an earlier date.

If you are preparing for our test, keep practising the online mocks, but read the book at least once, you will pass it test easily.

All the best, guys.

Do a Google search. There are many sites and mobile apps. They are not official ukvi links so cannot be posted on the forum.

Dear Members,

Please can someone let know if you have booked the test in Cardiff and have taken/going take in June 2020? I had mine few days back but postponed to July now. Wondering why mine is postponed to July , whereas I see some people completing the test recently and some are going to take in June (from the posts in this thread). Is it because the lockdown rules slightly differ in Wales from England ? Or is there anything that I am need to consider ?

Appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,
Guru.

Google for "life in the uk test web" and click the first link to practice well all 15 exams.
I passed my LIUK exam yesterday and over 90% questions were from the above
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Hi,
My Wife(PBS Dependant) will be applying for ILR this month. Can someone please advise
1. If English Language Test can be booked after submitting the online application but before the UKVCAS appointment or this need to be booked ahead of her online application?
2. If test is booked after the online application what should be mentioned in the application form regarding whether she meets English Language Proficiency requirement - Yes/No
3. Is my understanding correct that if she gives English language test in the approved centre she no longer needs NARIC assessment for either her level of degree(AQUALS) or English Proficiency skills(ELPS)

I was initially planning for online NARIC but she doesn't yet have a medium of instruction letter as her University in India is closed until June end.

I just passed my LitUK test yesterday and I'm looking to upload my 'proof' -- the best I seem to be able to find is a screenshot of the booking page which has my name, DOB and test result -- will uploading this as a pdf be sufficient?

As I've already put in my application, should I include a cover letter to explain about the above, or is it unnecessary?

Hi,

I have passed my life in the uk test today in Reading centre. They haven't given me a certificate, all I got was an email to check the result in my account. I have taken the screenshot of the account page where it shows that i have passed the test. Hope that is enough as proof or should I be receiving any other certificate?

Thanks
Regards,
Ramana

For anyone who has passed, when you log into your account and click to view your results, does it just say your unique reference number and then underneath PASS?

Thanks in advance

You no longer receive a pass certificate. All you need is the unique reference number while filling your ILR form

I had my life in the Uk test postponed 3 times due to Covid 19 but finally managed to do it on 6th June. Test was super easy and I would recommend practicing online test few times as questions were exactly the same as online practice test which you will find on google. Goodluck to all going for test.

Trinity Approved WTF

Post by philippinesuk » Mon Jun 08, 2020 4:03 pm

Ive made a dumb and costly error

Went and booked Trinity at Southwark for SELT B1 Test

Its not on the approved list ony some of their venues are

I find this a bit scammy by Trinity if you go on their site, stamped everywhere is Approved for ILR approved,, if you click you need a test for ILR it actually takes you to the booking where you can choose places like Southwark or Croydon AMP which according to Gov UK are not approved

Croydon Trinity is still on the list though, so that option would have been ok.

I found a test date next week that I have booked for Monday at Croydon AMP House under Trinity College for a GESE Grade 5 (B1), but I don't see that on the list. Have I booked wrong, please any help will be appreciated. I have an IELTS Life Skills test booked in July for Leeds but I found this new date in Croydon somehow and if that is good then I can apply for refund from the other one.

Hi

We are in the similar situation where we have booked for Trinity SELT test but Southwark centre which is not in the list of Approved secure English language test centres - Trinity staff is saying it is in the list but list is not updated.

Please let us know if we can use this for ILR or can we get the refund - please share your experience or opinion.

Thanks

The approved centres list was updated only on 21 May 2020.
Not worth the risk of scheduling your test in a centre not in the list

The list is only updated intermittently so new test centres may not appear. Trinity website clearly shows the Southwark test centre is an approved SELT centre: https://www.trinitycollege.com/qualific ... LT-centres

HI Zimba,

Thanks for your response.

Yes Trinity website says that and if you call them they are saying the same. But immigration rules says test centre should be approved test centre and currently they are not on the list.

If say in theory the decide my application today and they will use May 21, 2020 list - this test centre is not on the list. This means I will not get ILR.

I know that risk is updated regularly - but if they decide today this centre is not on the list and we don't know when this list will be updated.

Thanks

Got an email earlier in the afternoon that my test has now been moved to Croydon - London South - Stephenson House, Cherry Orchard Rd Croydon (on the list of approved centers) from AMP House, Trinity 4 Dingwell Road Croydon which wasn’t on the list.

Arranging for a refund from IELTS in Leeds now.

Just to mention, this is through Trinity College London and a GESE Grade 5 (Level B1) test I booked today, my other test was supposed to happen in Leeds on 11th July and was an IELTS B1 Life skills through British Council, I will be asking for a refund for that one now.

Hi,
Can you confirm if they automatically moved from AMP House to Stephenson House?
