Hi,
Can you confirm if they automatically moved from AMP House to Stephenson House?
I was getting a call but I was in a meeting at work, and then listening to the voicemail it was someone from Trinity, within 5 mins got an email saying been moved to Stephenson house.

Thanks for the info.

I am also in similar situation. Got my test booked for 12th Jun at AMP House, Croydon. And I haven't got any email from Trinity College. I hope this isn't an issue to give test at AMP House as the UKVI do state on their list of approved test centres that further test centres will be added.

As esteemed moderators have already called out that these are approved tests and UKVI would also understand the current situation and they would have approved this test centre as well. It's just that the list needs to be updated.

Fingers crossed that there won't be any issue going ahead with the test at new centre.

Hello,

We have booked the test for naturalisation/citizenships at Trinity College in August this year, the address is bellow

Trinity SELT, Stephenson House
Cherry Orchard Road
Croydon
London
CR0 6BT

Is the above centre in approved list of govt?

Second, I have learnt that there’s no more face to face exam due Covid-19, but in the same Center the exam will be via video chat. Any update on this please as I’m not entirely sure.

Thank you

Stephenson house is on the list and in my confirmation email it does say that the test is through video chat.

Thanks for the reply, I have checked my email and it didn’t say anything about video chat, probably the test is in August.

Did my life in the uk test a few days ago in Ilford, it was pretty straight forward and took about 5 minutes. All the online practice questions and apps were extremely helpful. Slots do open up everyday with cancellations, so look out for those if you want to do the exam earlier.

For people who were querying about Trinity's new centers including myself, I got the following email from Trinity, hope that helps everyone:

Good Morning,

Thank you for contacting Trinity College London.

Our new SELT centres’; London Southwark and London Croydon AMP house are approved SELT testing points which we have only just opened.

This is currently being updated on UKVI’s list of approved SELT Centres - We can confirm that a SELT qualifications taken in either; London Southwark or London Croydon AMP House are valid for the purpose of a visa application with UKVI.

Please be advised that you can ’like’ our Trinity SELT Facebook page to keep up-to-date with relevant news, including information from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

I hope this information has been helpful and if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,

Hi

We are in the similar situation where we have booked for Trinity SELT test but Southwark centre which is not in the list of Approved secure English language test centres - Trinity staff is saying it is in the list but list is not updated.

Please let us know if we can use this for ILR or can we get the refund - please share your experience or opinion.

Thanks
The list is only updated intermittently so new test centres may not appear. Trinity website clearly shows the Southwark test centre is an approved SELT centre: https://www.trinitycollege.com/qualific ... LT-centres
UPDATE

The London Southwark centre (Trinity college) now appears on the most recent list of approved centres.

Does anybody know how soon results of Trinity Grade 5 should become available on the website? I understand that previously provisional results were communicated straight away but seems like it's not happening anymore.

I got the email 4th day (Thursday last week) after taking the test on Monday last week, and got the certificate delivered Saturday. So a pretty quick turn around.

Hello All,

I have passed LIUK test, but I only got an email with URN number. Is there any certificate? Or just keep the email and when applying for Naturalisation as a supporting document what should be attach with application.

Is the B1 is still via video chat?

Stay safe

Hi,

Does anyone know if there are now sufficient slots available to book the Life in the UK Test or is there still a wait of a month or so to book an appointment?

Many Thanks.

That depends on the availability at any specific centre.

Thanks Zimba. Is there a list of all the Centers available to take the LIUK Test?

Could the Test be taken anywhere in the UK or does it only have to be the one near to where the applicant lives?

Which Identity Document should be used by a T2 General applicant to book the Test - BRP or Passport?

Also, are Mock Online Tests sufficient to prepare and pass the LIUK Test?

Many Thanks.

I think any Id should be ok..I am applying through T2 route and used my BRP. Passed the LIUK just today- studied the official guidebook and solved tests online

Unofficial weblink removed by moderator

in my opinion it helps to read and take mocks alongside- might take a little longer if you aim to just rely on memorising mock tests
All the best!

Many Thanks afreenhaider86. And Congratulations for passing your Test.

Does the application form to book the Test ask for the type of ID used? If yes, did you mention Biometric Residence Permit or just Residence Permit? Or is it a drop down with pre-populated values (e.g. Passport, BRP etc.) to select from?

Thanks anub2016 🙂. The application is pretty straightforward and there will be a dropdown menu to select id. Be sure to take the same id with you to the test and sign the same way on the day of test as on the id. All the best!

Also apologies to moderators for linking a website in previous post. It was a free site so thought might help ppl in their prep. Ddnt know it’s against rules-sorry!
