Thank you very much mate. I really appreciate your reply.aman90 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 12:42 am11 jan 18 not 2019..
But you’ll be fine so no worries.
Whatever date you intend to apply count backwards n make sure absences in any 12-month period do not exceed 180 days.
E.g 15/05/19-16/06/18
You can also add a note stating ur compelling circumstances.
Since ur applying soon:
1. Read guidance with highlighter pen
2. Start application and you’ll get a check list for docs.. application is online only
3. Documents are less than at the time of ext.
4. Two new changes.
A) ur job role within the business
B) job description of Jobs ur claiming for
5. Read tier11417’s thread, it covers documents list and most concerns that can arise.
Good luck!
You should be fine as June 2018 to Oct 2018 falls into a year and that’s not more than 160 days, also February to May falls into another year and it’s not more than 130 days.raja786 wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 10:32 pmHi,
I'm applying for tier 1 entrepreneur ILR next week but I have spent nearly 8 months last year outside the country from Feb 2018 to Oct 2018 due to compelling reasons.
I consulted with the solicitor and he said I can still split my absence into 2 different years according to old rule because my last visa was granted on 5 Jan 2018 and new rule started on 11 Jan 2019. If I apply in May 2019, my rolling year to calculate absences will be May 2019 to May 2018 and so on. in that way my 8 months will be splitter into 2 different years.
I'm not sure about this rule as I know that the new rule doesn't allow to split absences.
My question is that am I still able to apply under the old rule and split my absence?
Urgent reply from senior members will be highly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

I have 3 months business bank statement. Do I need to provide letter from bank as well? As i already provided them in my extention application.
Secondly, Business contract, client invoices and marketing material. Do I need to send all these?
