ILR - 5 years from date of visa issue or date of entry

Post by jilanivin » Wed Mar 27, 2019 10:27 am

I have a concern please!

Can anyone help me out.

I am very curious in finding Immigration issues.

A friends spouse entered the UK on a Spouse visa ( partner is ILR) , For settlement of Spouse set(m) has to be used and the continuous period will be calculated either from the date of Entry or date of the visa granted in Home country?

They are married prior to applying for Spouse visa.

Patience is appreciated.

Kind regards

1. Kindly do not tag your questions onto other members topics. Your post has been split to its own thread.

2. For spouse settlement visa holders applying for ILR, it start counting from the date of ENTRY to the UK.
