As the covering letter is optional but only need to include when applicant is prominently highlighting regarding an issue relating to immigration history and is materialistic to the decision. I think mentioning about previous immigration history and list of documents is unnecessary as the same an applicant has to write down on the relevant application form.

I second to it that mentioning list of documents is unnecessary which even make it boring and make tired the case worker brain because on application form there is space available at end to list these documents.

Guys,

I agree that cover letter is totally optional and not needed in many cases but this is for people who do need it and struggle for words.

You don't have to use it if you believe your case is straight forward.

For the guy asking about the photocopies. Try and get photocopies of all docs apart from the Form and appointment letters. Will save case workers time and in return will save your waiting period. Just my opinion.
