Hi, I’m looking for some advice . Applied for ilr spouse visa (final one thank god) on August 3rd 2019. We got an email today saying that before the application can be processed we are required to send further evidence of us living together from August 2017 until March 2018. We are very confused as the exact wording was “Documentary evidence to show that you and your wife have been residing together between August 2017 through to March 2018. This evidence should be from at least 6 official sources and addressed to BOTH parties either jointly or separately.
We are wondering does this mean 6 separate letters for each (we don’t have any joint) or does this mean 6 overall and perhaps 3 each. It’s a very short space of time to be able to supply 6 each ....help please
You are supposed to send cohabitation documents for the last 2 years to prove a subsisting relationship. 3/4 different source spread evenly across last 2 years i.e. every 3/4 months. You should have sent it with your application to avoid delays.
Ideally a couple docs should be in joint names. If not, top it up with solo names but same address.
Council Tax Bill
Water/Elec/Gas bills
Bank statements
NHS letters
UK driving license
TV license etc
