Okay, so under a section later on it asks:KM0170 wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 5:03 pmHi everyone,
I am a British citizen and my wife is here on a spouse visa (5 year route) and we are going to apply for ILR shortly.
We are living with my parents so in the application where it asks if we rent or own our home we selected neither and put that we are living with parents. It then goes on to ask for 3 pieces of evidence but states before this that:
"You only need to provide this evidence if:
you are responsible for some housing costs such as rent, mortgage or council tax"
Neither me or my wife pay these. If we continue the application in the documents checklist it asks for us for these documents.
So do we need to provide these?
Thanks
The answer should be NO to that specific question.KM0170 wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 10:50 pmHi, thanks. Sorry if it has been, i've tried searching about a bit before posting.
I'm a bit confused by your answer. For the question:
"Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave application made on or after 28 October 2013?"
I answered yes to this as my wife has passed the SELT grade 5 test.
You should say YES even if she has NOT done the test yet.For the question:
"Have you passed the Life in the UK test?"
No
"Are you claiming exemption from this requirement because a physical or other condition prevents you from taking the Life in the UK test?"
Yes
