ILR - NARIC Degree Validation

Post by baia » Wed May 05, 2021 5:06 pm

I am applying for my ILR application along with my wife and children.
Myself and my wife both have got the Grade 5 GESE, ESOL international speaking and listening CEFR Level B1.1 to meet the English language requirements.

When I fill my ILR application it asks for NARIC document,

"NARIC letter that confirms the qualification
meets or exceeds the recognised standard of a
Bachelor's or Masters degree or PhD in the UK
AND confirm the level of English to which the
degree was taught or researched"

Questions are,
1) As myself and my wife both have the B1.1 English test. Do we still need to get the validation from NARIC?
2) Both of our degrees are taught in English, if I select the option "Is your degree taught in English" as yes, then NARIC document becomes required if I select No then this document is not under the required documents.
What should I select for this i.e., yes / no?
If select yes, can I still ignore the NARIC document? as I am submitting the B1.1 test certificate as the proof for English?
3) Is there any minimum qualification requirement for the ILR application?

Thanks for the quick response.

So selecting no will not impact the decision right? As I am still producing the required English documents.

The questions are only relevant to meeting the English requirment. Ukvi don't care what degrees you have for any other reason.

ILR - Cohabitation documentary evidence

Post by baia » Wed May 12, 2021 5:46 pm

I am applying for the ILR - Indefinite Leave to Remain for myself and my family.
I need to produce the following documentary evidence as stated below:

"If you have added a spouse or civil partner to this application form who is applying at the same time as you, please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the whole period and be in the form of official letters or documents, addressed to yourself and your spouse."

Few questions:
1) Does the documents need to have both our names or can I have separate documents for myself and my wife pointing to the same address (for e.g., Bank Statements, Mobile Phone Bills etc)?

2) Does these documents needs to be for every month or can it be every three months?

3) What documents are allowed as the evidence?

4) Does these documents need to show all 5 years of our residence? or just last 2 years starting this month?

5) How many document types needs to be given?

6) Do I also need to produce the documents for my children's too? if so what documents are allowed?

ILR - Immigration status

Post by baia » Wed May 12, 2021 5:53 pm

I have been asked for the below document?

"Evidence of Mr. XXXX immigration status in the UK"

What should I produce here?

Is this BRP card or is this my immigration clearance stamp in passport?

If it is immigration clearance then, I have entered through the Ireland as Ireland was my transit airport. So they have cleared the immigration for me and my family but nothing when I entered UK. What evidence should I produce here?
Can the flight tickets be sufficient? or any other documents I need to produce?

I have already uploaded the Signed Consent Form.
* Do I also need to take the print out of the submitted Application Form, sign it and upload it? or is it not required?
* My Wife and Children has their Leave to remain granted in 2017 and they are all Tier 2 General - Dependents. Do I need to upload their Travel history or is it not required?
