Hi Kingfaysal

I didn't contact anyone.
Today i checked my email in detail and noticed that I have rcvd a survey from UKVI about my experience.
Same like your situation I am still awaiting a decision on SET LR. This survey is dated 10 Nov and flrfp status changed to decided on 11 Nov 2017 so I assume that this survey can be a part of previous application decision status.
Hope this piece of information is helpful.
Like yourself, I have also received this survey on 10th Nov. 17 but the status of my application remain the same.
Could you tell me when did you apply for FLR (FP)?

Thanks

Please start a new topic of your own with the full details of your immigration history and reasons for the refusal. This is not the correct topic for a refusal discussion.

Hi Members,
My case has become very complicated. The timeline is as follows:

-Applied for ILR on Tier 2 basis Feb 2017 same day service
-Home Office kept it for further checks due to the salary jump query.
-Salary hike was from £24K to £ 35K, mainly due to becoming fully qualified member and no increment for last year
-Waited for 6 months and then contacted them. Standard reply that it is in progress.
- Sponsor Compliance visit in Oct.
-No response since then.

My current Tier 2 leave is due to expire end of Feb 2018 and so does my wife's, who is my dependent.
I would have completed 6 years on Tier 2 so the maximum time one can stay under that category.

Would I be able to stay in UK if I don't get a decision by then? Would Section 3C cover me as I would have used my max 6 years limit ?

And what would happen to my wife's visa . Would I be able to get an extension for her as a Tier 2 Dependent?

Any help would be much appreciated

It is an exceptional % increase and HO are very wise to these huge pay hikes to meet the ILR requirement. How many other employees got an £11k salary increase???

And what would happen to my wife's visa . Would I be able to get an extension for her as a Tier 2 Dependent? She will have to apply for an extension before her visa expires, but this will likely be held until a decision on your ILR application has been made.

Any help would be much appreciated

The compliance officer can ask you about
1) your immigration history
2) the places you worked
3) your salary and number of hours you are working
4) holidays In a year including or excluding bank holidays , holidays you took last year
5) sick leave in a year
6) your jobs and responsibility
Please stick to your COS
7)any graph or pie charts showing the sales growth year by year
8) what’s your future sales and marketing strategies
9) they will ask the same questions to your employer , just make sure you both will give the same answer .
10) show them all the graph, your customer database , future strategies on your laptop

This is what they asked me on 19th September
As my job role is same as yours . But I am gonna apply in January 2018 on 10 years basis

What was your salary before the pay rise .
They will ask for the emails and etc but tell them you mostly deal with the customers in the restaurant . Make sure you show them the data base of your customers, all graphs , future strategies, are you going out of the restaurant to get the business ( client location)

Make sure when you got the pay rise even there were other staff who also got the salary rise . Because that give the home office a doubt that you got the pay rise just to get the ILR

When the officer ask your director that why you are the only one who got the pay rise , just make sure you give some solid answer with evidence ( that now you are handling more customers every week , you are getting more outdoor catering , more clients are coming , more then 500 clients data base is being created every month with there meal preferences and order history )
So now you have more work since may 2017
Just make sure you both gives same answers .

See user 'samia123' topic below. Only employee who got a £9k salary increase. Huge red flag to HO.

Hello everyone,

It has been exactly one month since I applied for ILR (LR) at Croydon. I canceled my pending appeal and submitted this application. I dont have any deception or criminal case and if H.O. count the years when my appeal was pending then i complete 10 years. But the question is how long they will take to process this application , any idea please? Thank you

Hi Guys,
By the grace of Almighty Allah, my visa has been approved on Friday 24th November and I have received all my documents along with the approval letter stated that my BRP will come with the separate package.
Here is my timeline and brief detail;
Entered in this country on 21st September 2007 on Student Visa and remain the student until 18th January 2011. On 3rd March 2011, I have obtained a PSW which expired on 18th January 2013 (I was working with the xxxx) 5th of April 2013 I have received Tier 2 visa from xxxx which expired on 31st January 2016. Due to changes in the management, xxxx didn’t extend my Tier 2 visa. Therefore, I went back to the Tier 4 Visa and obtained the MBA degree from University of Oxford and April 4th 2017 after finishing my degree I have joined the xxxxx and my student visa was expired on 31st May 2017 and day before it was expired I have applied for FLR FP and registered my Biometric on 14th September 2017. On 6th of October 2017, I have varied my application at Glasgow PSC and registered Biometric onsite. But on that day they haven’t approved my application and handed me the famous letter that “your application is valid but we need more time to decide etc.” on that day I have asked immigration officer at the counter that why you handed me this letter instead of visa. So he replied that since your FLR FP application is still opened and we don’t have your passports to verify your absences and all. So I have asked him again that how’s my case look like by investigating it, so he replied that it looks OK to me apart from one problem but it shouldn’t be an issue as you come here for SET LR for long residency and on Friday 24th November 2017 after 7 weeks of painful waiting I have received the approval letter.

The piece of advice.

Make your case as simple as possible so it would be easy to understand for them.
If you are applying on your own then make sure add a customise checklist.
I.e.
MBA Degree: it will cover my English language requirement.
DVLA license: this will provide proof of address
P 60: this will cover my year taxes
Etc etc…..

To be honest, I am not an expert on the subject. Above suggestions are those that I have applied on my case and it worked.

Wish you all the best.

Thanks
Faysal
