Hello All,
I Applied for ILR (SET(O) based on Tier 1 General) on 15th of August 2017 at PEO Croydon

My caseworker asked me to provide further documents (Tax Return for all 5 years)
I sent all documents in 10 days but still no news from HO after almost 5 months.
Do you think sending a letter might help?

People have been waiting for more than 18 months. If you have had tax amendment then you'll be in the same queue

Has anybody got their ILR approved after Home Office Compliance Visit successful decision?
If so, how long was the wait? Trying to understand as waiting on ILR decision for 9 months and Home Office visited last month and said that the sponsor rating was maintained and everything fine but still no decision !!

Dear CR001,
I have 3 usernames but only because when I tried to login via the 1st, it would not let me.
Then I had to create a new one and the same happened when I tried to login few days later. So I had no choice but to create a new one today.
If you can close the other 2 usernames, please do so as I do not require them for any reason as you can see that I have hardly posted at all under them.

I would really like to understand this as well. I had a visit 1,5 months ago, good feedback the week after this and nothing. My MP contacted HO but got zero clarity as well.

Same here. Contacted them and still in progress! Thought it would be quick once they are satisfied with the sponsor.

I am mainly silent reader of this forum and have been following this site for a long time. There was a time when I had no money to consult a lawyer but I got the help I needed from this site. For that I'll be always grateful to you guys. I received my ILR approval letter yesterday (Thanks to god). It was a fresh application as i withdrew my previous Tier 1 application while the appeal was pending at COA. It just took 3 months! As I did not have the right to work in those 3 months, I was really worried how i was going to survive if it had taken 18+ months. I have one advice for everyone, don't giveup, have patience, there was a time i was ready to go back home as I did not have any hope left. As a religious guy,I believe that i was saved by the God (I became a religious person while my appeal was pending, which took about 4.5 years). Anyway, here is my timeline:

15 October 2017 - Withdrew my Tier-1 (General) pending appeal which I applied back in May 2013 !!
Applied at Croydon: 20th October 2017, I was given a further check letter
24 January 2018 - received an approval letter
25 January 2018 - received BRP card with 6 years validity , not sure if this should be 10 years but I am happy and always thank god for giving me this opportunity. Hope you guys will receive ILR very soon, Insallah !

Good Luck :)

I went for Premium Service on 07/02/2018 at Glasgow under Tier - 1 General for my ILR and got letter for further checks.

CW wanted to verify my corporation tax details so can i post him documents?

Can anyone suggest when can i expect reply from them?

Is there any turn around time?

Thank you in advance...

Why did you not take this information with you to your appointment? Did the CW ask you to send documents or just state they will check the HMRC details?

You could be waiting a few weeks now. Some members have been waiting many months.

Hi,
Many thanks for your reply, I have taken all my self assessment SA302 and didn't know they even wanted my previous extension companies return, he told me he wants to go and check with HMRC that i am upto date with everything. He did not ask me to send any documents and just said he need to do this checks.

Should i send him documents related companies return and corporation tax paid?
He has not asked me to provide anything

How many weeks to wait for my case as everything is upto date in my previous dealing with HMRC or companies house?

Thanks,

No need to send anything if you have not specifically been ask to. They will check themselves with HMRC.

How long it will take is like asking how long a piece of string is. It could take a couple of weeks, it could take a few months.

Hi Everyone
Just received both my ILR and my documents in the same day.
Thank you all for sharing your experiences.
I think we need to take the time and write here when we get the good news as well, as I imagine when someone gets the ILR, they might not be bothered to update everyone here, and so most of the news in the forums are worrying sometimes.
Here is my timeline:

Applied for ILR (LR) - 10 year route at Croydon Visa Centre on 13 Dec 2017, and got the further checks required letter in couple of hours.
visited the Croydon Visa Centre to seek more details later twice, and no luck.
After a month I wrote to my local MP, and my MP sent a letter to the centre asking them to update me within 4 weeks time.
Today received both my documents and ILR separately, and the ILR is valid for more than 6 years.

My suggestion to all you waiting for your decision is do not stress much, as this time needs to pass.
However do what you think could help in getting your results quicker.
Not only I wrote to my local MP, but also I wrote directly to the Croydon Visa Centre, and Kindly asked them to respond to me and give me an update on the status.

It seems like more people are now getting their results, and you should be one of them soon hopefully.
Good luck everyone.

Hi all,

I`ve been following this blog for 3 painful months while waiting for the ILR decision and feel I have to share my my experience as I am well aware that people who get the positive decisions have more fun things to do than sit and write. I did spend a week drinking though.
I will shut my account after posting this so I apologise in advance for not answering any questions afterwards- I`ll try to be as detailed as possible and give all information I can share in this post.
If you don`t want to read it all bellow- in short my advice is- there is not much you can do but sit and wait- and if you haven`t been naughty and the business and all is legit- it will be OK at the end- you just have to keep sane till then!

I applied for ILR based on 5yrs working on Tier2 on 20th October PEO in Croydon. I didn`t have any representative and already had a champagne in the fridge for that evening believing my application is pretty straightforward. However I did not get the decision on the day. I had all the documents they require with me but they wanted to see P60s for last 5 years,12 months detailed bank statement and employment contract which I didn`t have with me. So I`ve sent those additional documents in the post within 2 weeks as required and then spend hours on this blog stressing about the decision as I`ve seen the posts indicating that that they are very suspicious if your salary was hiked up significantly shortly before applying for ILR (as it was the case with me).
My employer had a valid reason for my pay rise and was willing to argue this- so I included a letter from her explaining this to the additional documents sent.
What I`ve found the most frustrating is being left in a limbo, without any idea on processing times! While seeing headlines in the papers and reading this blog helped realigning my expectations (I realised I wasn`t gonna hear back from them soon as they said) still it made me very depressed. I`ve tried everything- got my MP to call them few times, talked to layers, my boyfriend wrote numerous letters to them calling on FOI Request asking for processing times and - nothing! They wouldn`t give anything away, and finally when I managed to speak with someone on the helpline they were very unpleasant and told me I have to wait 6 months (postal applications time-frame) before I can even ask about my case. So I surrendered to the idea that it will take 6 to 12 months and expected compliance officers to rock up at my work place when I got my ILR in the post last week!! Obviously I am super happy but also annoyed that that all it was - was their processing time- over 3 months for Premium service!!!
So yes, each case is individual and they may investigate further someone with salary rise and not somebody else with the same salary rise- it probably depends on many factors and previous history. So please try to stay positive (I hate this expression but it`s true) as most of the people posting here are the ones who were most unlucky...I think the HO are just overstaffed (especially in Croydon) and at the moment the turnaround seems to be 3 months.
Good luck!

I applied for Set ILR in Glasgow Premium service on A Basis of Long Residency on 16 JULY 2017 Being told by caseworker that everything is ok and he needs to recover the passport from other department so he can check the dates and I ll get a call regarding my application in 1 week time that 1 working week has being converted into more then 6 months and still no answer wrote couple of letters with no response back I paid for premium service because my grandmother had last stage of cancer and she wanted to see and meet me in her dying days thanks to my caseworker and home office I could not meet and see my grandmother. After her death I called them and wrote a letter that my case should be decided as soon as possible so at least I can be with my family in this grieving time no response Dont know what to Make of it

Hi,
It's now 2 weeks i attended Glasgow PSC for my ILR Set(O) on the basis of Tier - 1 General and no response yet, I have spouse and 2 kids whose visa is valid till 24/03/2018, so if i don't get decision before that time then what is my best solution? I also want to know that if I receive ILR before visa expiry date then can i apply for ILR for my kids when they have yet not completed 5 years in UK?
Thanks,

Hi all,

Wanted to share good news - I got my ILR approved after 3,5 months waiting. Here's my story:

Applied via PEO in Croydon on 2nd of November 2017
Got the usual further enquiries letter (that I think was to do with my position & salary increase before the application)
3,5 months waiting - writing to HO, asking about status in person, etc. - complete ignore from HO workers
On 18th of February 2018 my rep got a call from HO saying my application is ready for collection - hooray!
I don't know if it helped, but my company employed serious lawyers who got through to HO and shared a business case of why I need to travel for work etc. Apparently they listened. Maybe try this as well?

My case was straightforward and 4 of my friends with less clear applications got their ILR approved on same day... Think I was unlucky.

Guys, keep it up, stay calm, I really know how frustrating it all is! Good luck to you all <3
This forum is so great and is the only way to keep sane and share concerns throughout this unfortunate journey. Huge thanks to moderators and all of you!

xx
