Hi everyone.. I have been silently reading this thread and today, received a letter from HO stating they are awaiting response from a government department/body and aim to make a decision before the 2nd June 2018. Has anyone received a similar letter?

Here is a breakdown of my history:
1: entered U.K. Oct 2007 with student Visa till 2011
2: extended leave under tier 4 from 2011 to 2012
3: again extended leave under tier 4 from 2012 to 2014 but without right to work.
4. Applied for FLR (FP) before expiry of leave which was refused and went to appeal.
5. In Sep 2016, FtT judge refused application to appeal to UtT and stated appeal was out of date. (This was incorrect)
6: My solicitor asked for decision to be set aside.
7. Decision made end of September 2016 stating appeal not out of time and I can appeal to UtT
8. In December 2016, exhausted all appeal rights. However judge did mention again “appeal out of time”
9. Submitted application for FLR(FP) again within 14 days of appeal determination.
10. In September 2017, 28 days before reaching 10 years, I applied for long residence. Couldn’t find any appointment for same day.
11. In Feb 2018, received refund for FLR(FP) application

Now, I am just wondering, does anyone know what the case worker might be waiting a reply on?

Thank you

this is for you shehbaz

I applied in October 15th 2014 for ilr on employed and self employed basis where as my salary was about 25k and my self employment was about 5k on which I paid tax

on my first extension I was completely self employed but still paid every penny even though I paid in installments

LETTER DATED ON 5 MARCH 2015 from home office

'WE AIM TO PROCESS ALL APPLICATION WITHIN 6 MONTHS FROM THE DATE SUBMITTED. HOWEVER IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES THIS TARGET IS NOT POSSIBLE. FOLLOWING OUR ASSESSMENT OF YOUR CASE, UNFORTUNATELY IS APPEARS YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED WITHIN THE 6 MONTHS TARGET

THIS IS BECAUSE WE ARE WAITING FROM ANOTHER GOVERNEMENT DEPARTMENT OR AGENCY TO VERIFY SOME OF THE INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTS YOU HAVE GIVEN TO US . I AM SORRY FOR THE DELAY IN DEALING WITH YOUR APPLICATION AND FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THIS IS CAUSING

PLEASE ASSURED WE ARE DOIN ALL WE CAN . WE EXPECT TO MAKE A DECISION ON YOUR APPLICATION BY 17/07/15 BUT WE WILL WRITE YOU AGAIN IF THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE POSSIBLE

by the looks of it I am in the same boat as you are all we can do is hope and pray that it gets cleared off and we get a good result as my case has already reached 5 months and they have already given me an indication for another four months
Hi,
I received the same kind of letter and was just hoping to see how long it took till you received a reply from the home office.

Hi,
Many thanks for your clear reply, if i send him documents will it be any negative for my case? Can you also share anyone's experience who sent documents like this.
Thanks,
HO have access to your full HMRC information. If they wanted you to submit documents, they would have asked you to do so. Even if you do send documents, they will still make their own checks.
Hi,
It's now 2 weeks i attended Glasgow PSC for my ILR Set(O) on the basis of Tier - 1 General and no response yet, I have spouse and 2 kids whose visa is valid till 24/03/2018, so if i don't get decision before that time then what is my best solution? I also want to know that if I receive ILR before visa expiry date then can i apply for ILR for my kids when they have yet not completed 5 years in UK?
Thanks,
Hey, not sure if it helps but i am in.the same boat. Applied for tier 1 g 5 year basis on 21st Nov 17 at glassgow psc. Was told they have to check with hmrc to confirm the tax paid etc, they wont accept the p60, sa032 i had. Tried contacting multiple time since then but no response yet.

Also forgot to.mention my kids visa was expiring, and i was hoping i can apply for her passport based on my ilr, which obviously has not happened yet. So i had to.apply for her visa extension and was given similar letter. No progress yet.

I went for Premium Service on 07/02/2018 at Glasgow under Tier - 1 General for my ILR and got letter for further checks.

CW wanted to verify my corporation tax details so can i post him documents?

Can anyone suggest when can i expect reply from them?

Is there any turn around time?

Thank you in advance...
Why did you not take this information with you to your appointment? Did the CW ask you to send documents or just state they will check the HMRC details?

You could be waiting a few weeks now. Some members have been waiting many months.

Hi,
Many thanks for your reply, I have taken all my self assessment SA302 and didn't know they even wanted my previous extension companies return, he told me he wants to go and check with HMRC that i am upto date with everything. He did not ask me to send any documents and just said he need to do this checks.

Should i send him documents related companies return and corporation tax paid?
He has not asked me to provide anything

How many weeks to wait for my case as everything is upto date in my previous dealing with HMRC or companies house?

Thanks,
No need to send anything if you have not specifically been ask to. They will check themselves with HMRC.

How long it will take is like asking how long a piece of string is. It could take a couple of weeks, it could take a few months.

I have received email from UKVI today on 12/03/2018 about customer survey, does this mean they made decision on my case??

Thanks,

Hi,

Nothing received anything yet and i understand that Survey is just automated email and has nothing to do with visa decision as first question asked to me was you received decision in last 3 months and as I pressed No, next page said survey is over.

Good Luck.

It doesn't, it is only a survey, no indication if you will be approved or refused.
