Hi Ashish,

Trust me writing letter to them helps sometimes. Brief detail about your immigration history and tell them that there is pressing need for you to travel thats why you applied for same day service. Am sure you must have planned to travel after ILR. Since all the tax and required document is all provided with proper supporting document kindly approve my application for ILR. Something around this to explain them your situation.

Send the letter to croydon, Sheffield and Liverpool.
Trust me it may help in getting your application process faster. If all the documentation is correct and straight forward still send them the letter. Write to them explian your situation and complexity with the ILR decision getting delayed.

Good Luck.

Hi,

Can you tell me something, when you got approval from home office how do they communicate with you?

They send you letter in post?
Normal post or recorded delivery?
What you receive first? All documents with their letter? or something else?

Thanks,

Ashish

I went for Premium Service on 07/02/2018 at Glasgow under Tier - 1 General for my ILR and got letter for further checks.

4 months complete and I am still awaiting and there are no tax amendments in my case ever happened.

Anyone else in my category who is waiting?

Can i ask home office to refund me money extra charged for premium service?

Thanks,

Ashish

Applied today at croydon
T2 to ILR

Application deferred, initially they said they are happy and its almost granted its just caseworkers are new and thats why taking time.
Later on after 2 hours of waiting they said they couldnt make a decision today, they dont need any interview or documents its just they need some inquiries and did not tel me what kind of inquiries.... i have seen people have been waiting up to 6 months after deferring.
I am so much worried now, why gave me fake hopes by saying its almost granted so i could relax and leave the premises while my solicitor take over. Could anyone tell what to expect in my case ? Anyone with such experience ?

Is there any difference between these words in PEO letter mentioning application is valid.

Further checks vs Further enquiries ?

T2G TO ILR
PSC CROYDON
8TH JUNE 2018

The letter i got says

" Your application is valid but there are further enquiries to be made on your case and as such your application has been passed to a team where these enquiries can be made. In light of this we are returning your sponsor's passport with this letter But all of the other documents submitted with original application will be held until a final decision is made "

What kind of enquiries they are looking for and when they return the passports is that a good sign that the enquiry could be a minor ? or is that a complex case need a compliance visit or interview ? but i was told before this letter that its almost granted and an hour later i got this letter from them. i was so furious and upset :(

Well...When you last salary increased and what was the percentage actually?
To be honest a lot depends on this factor!

3 months ago it increased from 30K to 36K

But with my previous employer
From year 1 to year 3 i was on 33K
Then with extension changed to 35.5K but then license revoked so i moved to another employer who offered me 30K and promised a payrise in a year time so hence 36K after 1.5 years with new employer.

Well! usually, they interview the sponsored employee..and they visit without any notice. increasing salary more than 15% and not notifying via SMS may give a red flag! Did your employer notify home office when the salary was increased?

15% is not that much considering i was 33K and then 35K with my previous employer when i got this job with new employer i started with 30K on this condition that i want a raise within a year if ur hppy with my peformance.

Also he notified immediately to the home office as soon as he changed my salary. So that will be fine i guess.

This is my first post but I have read a lot of posts and I am very thankful to all the members and the admin who take time to write posts.

My Application Timeline -

Applied at PEO : 23/11/2017

Compliance visit date: 19/04/2018

Confirmation letter and documents received : 20/06/2018

Details below:

After submission of my ILR application I was also given a letter requiring further checks and then the wait started. In January 2018, my company licence was also due for renewal and I was told by my lawyer that it automatically results in a compliance visit from Home Office. The visit happenend on 19th April 2018 but that time I was on my Annual leave and they just met my colleague who is also on Tier 2 visa. They never came back for me or no inquiry was made from Home office. I involed my local MP on 8th June 2018 and on 15th June the MP wrote back to me that " I am writing to confirm that I have spoken with the Home Office regarding your application and unfortunately they have no update as they are still waiting on responses."
Then I further requested her if she could find out what kind of responses is Home Office waiting for but today I have received my beautiful letter of confirmation and BRP will follow in sometime.

Once again thanks to all for all the guidance.

That's great! Congratulation :)
Can you please mention why your application was held..Did you have any big amount of salary increment before ILR or something like that?

Hi Ashish,
I have not got any response till now and desperately waiting for the positive outcome. My intial tier 1 application (2011) was refused and I won the case in court and recived my 1st tier1 visa in 2013.
in extension I was fully self employed but I have been interviewed and visa been issued then.
in my Ilr application I was fully employed and all of my taxes are up to dates with no amendments at all.
What about you ??

Written emails to MP and MP replied by saying Home office said they are in a process of further checks and MP urged them to priorities the application since it was a premium service.

Hope to get some positive response from them, dont want MP to keep bugging them again and again i dont know if it will be good for my application or bad.
