Yeah i know its really frustrating...
I m thinking of calling them tomorrow. what you suggest should i call or wait more
Yes I think you should call, my 14 weeks will be over tomorrow, so I will call as well, and will really request for information more then just 'application in progress'. best of luck!

Now i really don't know what should do ?

thats the problem,
I asked them what to expect next and they said its all pending and they cannot tell me any thing about further waiting time, its all in process - and that is the reason I was thinking what's the use of this service, you cannot call them before 14 weeks, and if you call them afterwards they just say its all pending/being processed which I you already know..

Dear all,
just want to know about SETO ILR applicants, my 14 weeks waiting time is well over now. Is there any one who has waited >= 18 weeks. I just want to know is it normal that one has to wait upto 18 weeks [or more] or is really unusual, because what I am thinking is to withdraw application if I don't hear any thing in a months time [ total 18 weeks] and then to apply personally.
I did call them, what they say its in progress.
Any experience in this regard and suggestions will be extremely helpful for me, and ofcorse for other fellows who are waiting for over 14 weeks now.
Many thanks and kindest regards

If that was not the full payment I think I [ & I believe most of others] would d done it ages ago, its just a pain every day. I think I l wait for a month and then would strongly consider withdrawing.

Even withdrawing doesn't work as you are thinking. if read some older posts then u would know they even take weeks to withdraw ur application

Do you need your passport urgently otherwise try not to think abt it and just have fun. I must admit I look out for it in the post everyday and 12 weeks on and still waiting.
I find that coming to this thread doesn't make me feel better either so I'll just come back once a week or two to see if ppl in my batch have gotten theirs. Mine's Set O - applied 15th July.

Been waiting for 6 weeks now, so I suppose another 8 to go (mid Nov), I am a little worried however that some of your applications are taking longer and I hope it doesn't go over 14 weeks as I need to travel back to NZ in December for our wedding. I have also read that it takes 15 working days to get my passport back........so I hope it doesn't get to end nov and I have to withdraw my application because my visa expired on the 15th of Aug (uk ancestry) and I will not be able to come back into the UK once I come back from our wedding in NZ? Do you think come 14 weeks I can request there fax number and send through a request to hurry it up a bit, seeing I have to go back for my wedding?
Thanks
Thanks
Hi Everyone,
My son and I received our passports yesterday, stamped on the 3rd of Oct and delivered on the 7th of Oct......so waiting time was just over 8 weeks. So relieved....!!!! All the best everyone

I am completing 23 weeks and into 24th week since I applied for ILR Set(O). Its been damn frustrating as every time I call they come back with the same answer that its still being processed. I have now posted a letter to HOME OFFICE raising a concern regarding the delay as I noticed that some of them who applied later have already received their ILR. HOPE is the only word that I have in mind..........

Go to your local MP and ask him to write and status update letter to Home office hopefully u will get a reply with proper reason why it is getting delayed. Or they will give u a decission.

Hi
I just called them today as I was waiting for my application to have reached the 14 weeks waiting times and as of YESTERDAY 10 October they are no longer providing information on applications less than 6 months.
Application sent 5/07/11
Application received: 06/07/11
COnfirmation letter: 07/07/11
Payment taken: 07/07/11
STILL WAITING
Am very worried that they will now only process applications closer to 6 months and I need to travel to Australia for a wedding in November.

What a bunch robbers! What are they doing with the all that money they charge? They take forever to process the documents and now they won't even provide updates? Is there a place in their website we can provide feedback?

Yes i think best way to write them letter and copy your local MP Or explain whole situation to MP and ask him write a letter for status update. Only this way you will get immediate reply.
