I recently applied for the ilr this month. Submitted documents same day and my passport was returned to me 3 days after. I did biometric a week after application. Hopefully, I get to hear something good soon.

Hi gracewell

Wow that was really quick congrats.

I applied for ILR DV on the 31th of July. Submitted application and was required to make no payment.

Biometric was done 17th aug at Liverpool and I had the chance to meet my case worker n she collected few audio evidence from one of the many abuses.

Now it is just a waiting game and all relevant documents has been submitted and even a lawsuit order against the abuser was submitted aswell with the rest I e police reports, healthy minds, cafcass letter, council letters, GP confirmation phone evidence etc.

The staff at the UKCVAS centres, if that is where you enrolled biometrics, are not UKVI caseworkers. UKCVAS is a third party agent. UKVI do not do the biometrics.

That is not correct, the staff that do the biometrics are different from the caseworker like you said but the case worker was on a different floor in the building.

They have different department in the capital building not just the biometrics staff. They have different floors and department

Application submitted: 09/12/2022
Evidence Sent: 09/12/2022

I haven't received any letters or emails from them at all. It's stressing me out now, employer needs a proof of right to work, they said they'll apply for a Verification of Application to confirm an application has been made which means I can work for a further 6 months while my application is being considered. They said they can only apply for verification after I've given my biometrics, which I haven't, I'm not sure if the Experian app is an alternative to biometrics or not. This is so stressful, UKVI taking their time and employer emailing me every day :(

Hello, have you heard anything yet?

My case
Online application: 11th Feb 2023
Documents submitted: 20th
I have booked my biometric appointment and photos and finger print taken 24th.

The email about biometric appointment on the application confirmation letter was so confusing about biometric reuse so i didn't want to risk not booking.

You are still able to work if your visa is still valid and made on time application unless you applied for concession? I am not sure why this was issue, i know this is so stressful and some of the members here waited over 6 months i cant imagine being in the same situation.
Please keep updating here

Thank you

Hi

I am sharing my timeliness for who ever in the same situation i was, desperately waiting and checking emails, wondering if the application was not properly submitted and if i have missed something because there is no communication once you submit your application and no acknowledgement email from HO about Documents being received and it was worrying

Online application: 11 Feb 2023
Documents submitted ( Online upload) : 20 Feb 2023
Biometric ( the email on online application confirmation letter about Biometric reuse was confusing but have done it anyway) i live in Manchester but went to Cardiff for bio : 26 Feb 2023

Approval email received : 31 May 2023
Total waiting times : 3 months and 2 weeks from online application date. No communication in between feels like 3 years 😪

Documents
Letter from three DV services
Letter from my GP
Police report

6 pages of my personal statement

I trust my man and came to England from the Philippines 🇵🇭 but he treated me very bad here. Iam grateful 🙏 i am finally free of the abuse.

Finally, anyone who is reading this, my advice is please do it now than later and good luck.
