Timelines above for my Partner and I, both sponsored independently by different sponsors. Thanks for all the good information and support on this board, very useful and much appreciated.

Based on our experience (small sample size to be fair), an earlier appointment was more important than priority vs super priority, so would recommend investing the extra £ on an earlier appointment rather than the extra £ for super priority if you're not in a rush. There initially wasn't anything available for a week when I first put my application in, but refreshed every 15 minutes for a few hours and eventually found next day for Croydon (also saw appointments pop up in Birmingham and Manchester at various times).
