Life in the UK test for ILR

Question. Do you need to do the Life in the UK test for ILR, or is it only needed for the following citizenship application? (It's not clear on the ILR application site)

Liuk and English requirment is mandatory for ilr. It is clearly stated on the ukvi website.

Only one ILR route is exempt from liuk and the English requirement and those who are under 18 or over 65.

Yes it is required for ILR.
