Happy to share that my ILR is approved this morning and waiting for BRP now.

- Earlier absences they did not count I guess and I did not provide any sort of supporting document for that.

- You can happily take your laptop and work there during the process.

One point I would recommend is to carry your Spouse Passport in Original even when you are applying on your own.
As I was not carrying it the lady told case will be on hold till I submit, I told her I can submit in 2 hrs give me time . She said Ok.

Thanks to CR001 and all other members.

Congratulations VijayUK.

You applied as PBS dependent separately meaning not with the main applicant?

Where did you mention your absence of 260days

Because I see that ILR form SET(o)for dependents we have to specify absence dates only if the leave was granted after 11 Jan 2018.

What cohabitation document did you submit during the 260 days absence

Hi Kumar,

Yes I applied independently, not with the main applicant. Main applicant is citizen now and had ILR from 2015.

I have filled 6.2 and did not submit any proof for the absences as in 6.3 the category was not listed.
6.14 I have not filled as I did not extend my visa later than 11th Jan 2018.

And regarding cohabitation documents . Below are the ones I submitted.

• Marriage Certificate
• Joint Account Bank Statements
• Mortgage Statement from XXX Bank including both the names
• Council Tax bills showing both our names( March 2013 till date )
• Household Notification or Voter Registration letters/ Poll Cards from last 5 years issued to both of us
• NHS Letters addressed to both me and my spouse
• My Driving Licence and Copy of my Spouse Driving Licence showing the same address
• Copy of our two sons Birth Certificate
• Copy of Tenancy Agreements (From March 2013 till April 2016)

Please note that they did not ask specific documents , He just said " Original documents what you want to submit " - 1st Set and 2nd Set - Photo copies of the same.

PLease dont forget to take your partners Passport and ILR Card if applicable.

Let me know if you need any more information.

Regards,
VJ

Thanks very much VijayUK.

How about the section Section 7 - Personal history > 7.13. How long have you lived in the UK?

As I understand you where not in the UK for 260 days between 2013-2014. Will mentioning less than 5years be a problem for dependent?

How the Joint bankstatements during your 260 days absence treated? Meaning even though you had statements but you where not physically present. Does it have to be a postal statement or will e-statement from online work?

I have posted couple of questions in thread
indefinite-leave-to-remain/tier-2-gener ... l#p1603425

I would be grateful if you could kindly help me with them if you have idea please?

Considerng if your wife is applying before 28 days , I too, mention 4 years 11 months.

By there were no joint statements during that time, it is better to have her name included,I have always got physical statements, so better order them.

I beleive if your wife is not extending her visa from now( 11th Jan 2018 ) no worries as per my knowledge.
