Qualified Accountant as Sponsor

Post by rk786 » Thu Sep 16, 2021 11:28 am

Hi All,

I am a an ACCA qualified accountant and have my own practice. I am applying for my wife's ILR on 5 year's route. My question is can I self certify my own accounts being a suitably qualified accountant or would I require another accountant to prepare / certify my accounts for my own limited company? My institute says normally it is ok for me to self certify my accounts but could not comment about Home Office requirements. I cannot find a clear guidance on this on the internet. I have tried to phone Home Office but they said I will need to ask a solicitor about this. Does anyone know or has any reference to this? Any help would be appreciated.
