Set(M) ILR Application, BRP Set to expire

Post by SRamunno » Thu Jan 18, 2024 1:38 pm

Hello!

I am about to submit my ILR Set(M) application and have two options for service:

1) Standard service, where I should expect to head back within 6 months. Or,

2. Super priority, where I should hear back about 1 day after my biometric appointment.

However, my current BRP is due to expire on 20 March, 2024. If I submit today (18 January, 2024) and I go for the standard service, but don't receive my decision before my current BRP expires, will that be an issue? Or do I need to use the super priority so I can be sure I have an answer by the time by current visa expires? Thanks!

No.
You can legally stay in the country on conditions of your last visa until the decision is made (section 3C).
