Hi everyone
Can someone please give me some hope,
I got a "Something for you" card today from Royal Mail, not sure what it is but it says it needs my signature, I was wondering if it is possible that I get something from HO now? I submitted my application 3rd January 2018
Does the approval letter need signature?
What if it is a rejection letter? How would that be? Does it need signature?
Thanks
Feri

If you dont have any purchases I think it’s from HO. If so, it would be a good new. Because with my experience, if you don’t have any criminal or serious problems you will have approval. Best of luck and don’t forget to share your good new. I applied on 10th January, just 5 days after you.

Today Morning, I sat in my car to set off for my office put the reverse gear and seen my way blocked by a white van. Driver with DX highviz was walking towards my door, I stopped him and he gave me an envelope. Opened it and it was my BRP inside.
Timeline: Refugee visa expiry 28/1/2018
Applied on 6/1/2018
Biometric 15/1/2018
BRP received 11/4/2018
Documents yet to be received.
Wish u all good luck and it seems that HO has speed up their processes.
Thanks

Thanks bro. It is definitely good for us immigrants. I was not expecting to receive it before 4/5 months. I have noticed that few people were concerned about HO emails, I never received any.

Hello and good day lovely people, I am new to the forum. May I ask where I can get the Set (Protection) application? Because the one on the UKBA Website says 2016, is this the one that everyone used?
Your replies will be appreciated.

Hi ladies and Gentlemen
I did post something earlier about applying for indefinite leave, i am filling my form but i have a few questions that i desperately need help with.
Question 1. have you had a UK court judgement or civil penalty under UK Immigration Acts.
I once had a CCJ on my credit file but it cleared after 6 years, should i put declare it .I also had a
speeding ticket of which i did a speed awareness course, do i need to declare this as a penalty
Question 2. HMRC tax, i was working for different job agencies and i got a letter from the taxman saying i
owed them about £250 in taxes due to working two jobs,i thought its the taxman that works out
how much i pay and i did not intentionally avoid tax .I agreed a payment plan with Past Due
Credit Solutions of which they debit my account every month.Should i also declare this.
Thank you, i know its a lot of questions but i really need you help.

Hi
I think you should be honest and let them know about it, as I remember there is an option in the application form which asks you about such situations. I don't think the speeding ticket would need to be declared.
About the tax, I had the same situation however mine was over £1000 but I spoke to them and sorted it out, so I didn't mention anything. I don't think you need to mention it as you have agreed to pay it back and you are paying it back.
Good luck

Hey guys. Just a small question. Home Office sent an acknowledgement letter to my dependant asking to enrol biometrics for the second time. First letter was sent in March to him together with biometric letter and it was done straight away. Today he received the same letter asking again. Do you know what it means and why they double send? Has anyone had this situation before?
