If your asylum was political directly because of the govt then with its changing it may affect your continuity of protection. But if it wasnt because of govt then its changing doesnt have any impact on your asylum.
Thanks London22 for reply to my query,
I think I will also get a legal advice on this. I will keep you guys updated.
Hi guys,

I have submitted my application and the available dates for biometric appointments are after my current leave expires, it's that alright to book one anyway?
Also is the application start to be processed after the biometrics have been submitted?

Thanks in advance to anyone who will take her/his time to respond to my query.
At the end of the application it actually tells you until when you have to give in your biometric and upload documents...mine was 2 months after I submitted...
Hi guys,

I have applied through a solicitor and today I received a copy of my application form filled and found error about the date I have entered the UK. I called the solicitor, he said he will fix it. I am now a bit concern on how this may affect my application. Any advice please?

This can trigger a bit of delay in the application. You must have to make sure that you have informed HO with the correct date as leaving on solicitor can cost you a huge price as we know many solicitors dont take the cases seriously as applicants do hence in my view this application is simple and should be made without a solicitor.

Thank you

brother

don't fall for any information which does not seems logically true just apply in last month and leave it on official timing which is 2 months to 6 months. I did some research as well and I did not find anything so-called new immigration case working system. stay bless and stay at home.

Mr. SA8921 you claimed that you did some research about it would you like to put some light on it by providing the authentic link so everyone could have some benefits of it and give you some blessings as it will be good deed from you while we all are self-isolating. Thanks

Hi

There is no link to share, all I said that I got an email from home office and I searched that email address and found about this new system.

I applied through standard UK visas and immigration website, in terms of documents I submitted my BRP, travel document, expired national identity card (PAK), consent form, utility bill as a proof of address, my educational degrees ( B.Eng form Pakistan University and MSc from UK university), also as I’m married to a German national I mentioned this in my application ( though didn’t provide any evidence)

I gave my biometric at Croydon and uploaded all the above documents before hand. During my appointment they took my photo, finger prints and scanned in my travel document pages where I had stamps (mostly European countries) and that’s it.

After submitting all that, after 23 days I received an email from home office Atlas (home.office.atlas@notifications.service.gov.uk) as an application update stating my application for indefinite leave to remain has been successful and I will receive my BRP within 7 working days, I received my BRP after 5 days.

I have applied yesterday for ILR but unfortunately I saw UKVCAS have announced that all offices are closed now.
Do you know if I have to apply for any extension "I have refugee VISA for 5 years which will expire 24th April".

At the end of your application..it would have told you as to when is the last date to give in your biometrics......if you are still worried...you could call and speak to them or mail them.....

The advise from the govt is not clear as yet although it says employers who keep employees &keep paying them up to 80% of wages will get grants from govt which is valid for zero hour workers as well.Self employed will get up to £2500 a month in June.Advise is not clear .Many employers of zero hour employees are discriminating with workers .The govt has got funds but deliberately announced this complex policy .Why not simply pay everyone who is not working due to Covid 19?? Well people in power love to make things difficult &complex

Hi all,

I hope I can find an advise. I applied on 10 Dec 2019, but with this situation COVID19, I am not sure what will happen or what would be the time to receive any update from HO.

If you are an employee then ask your employees to apply for you as a furlough ,the govt will grant your employer your 80%of wages only if employer asks them.Employer doesn't get anything hence many employers refuse to help their zero hour workers .Kind of evil attitude &of course jealousy.Universal credit can also be applied but it is complex if you are not British as the forms technically reject you when you fill up &tell you are not british. If you are self employed wait until June then HMRC will contact you to fill up forms for payment of upto £2500/month depending on your own income .If you haven't submitted your self assessment for the year 2018_19 the HMRC likely to not pay you anything .

Hello Everyone stay safe and healthy and kindly stay at home
I was waiting to get my Visa and then share the timeline but it seems like a never ending wait so my timeline so far is :

5 years limited leave expiry: 22/11/2019
Applied online for SET(P) ILR: 29/10/2019
Documents submit online uploads: 29/10/2019
Bio metric done: 5/11/2019
Acknowledgement email: Only received Application submission email.
Status progress emails: - None ( As they stopped it after June 2019 i guess )
Approval letter: - Waiting
BRP received: - Waiting

It is quite frustrating as most of us has got it under or just over in three months but its been 5 months and 4 days since i applied...but its well under their 6 months time frame so staying positive.

Also i included a dependent (my 09 months old boy) on my application who was obviously not part of my original application 5 years ago. So could be the reason that they are taking long ?
Any one is waiting from October 2019 for ilr

My timeline
Expired 10.03.2020
Applied 16.02.2020
Biometrics: 19.02.2020

Approval and biometric still waiting;(

I am worried that someone received their ILR only after 23 days and this person applied after me.

Due to Coronavirus everything has stopped in the home office .It is likely to cause a massive delay in decisions and once this horrible time is over the home office will be in a chaos of backlog cases again and this is not a good news for those expecting decisions within 3 to 6 months. As everything is shut is is useless to worry too much as there is nothing anyone can do.
