I am kindly expect the advice from forum members.
I am waiting for my SET P application decision nearly 6 months I did not get any update still.
I have to sign a tendency agreement with housing association and they expects my present status document so My previous visa expired on 8 July I applied at 4 June for ILR attend Oppintment on 18 of August.
I am worried if they reject my application.

The sender is "Home Office Atlas" with email title "Application Update".
It says in the approval email "Your application for indefinite leave to remain in the UK has been successful. What happens next etc..."

Documents submitted (scan copies):

1) UK Travel Documents
2) BRP's
3) Last expired original nationality passports
4) Change of Name Deed Poll (as I've changed my name with this application)
4) Marriage certificate
5) Singed consent

That's it.

To be honest not that long ago! I submitted my application on the 4th August and biometrics on the 7th September. I am just getting really anxious!

I submitted my application on 18th April 2020 and biometrics on 9th July, still waiting. Yeah true they don't have any timeframe for SET (P) applications. It's because it has different criteria and they have to look into different elements like save country, criminal records etc.

Sometimes it also depends on the caseworker, If the caseworker is lazy or careless and find any error in the application, he/she would put it on a side and continue with another application God know when they return back to it.

I applied in end if May and biometric f2f on 20th July but still waiting , I see Set (M) and (O) got decision within a weeks .
So Set (p) take longer but I believe now they started in May application decision.
Maaz you’re nearly 6 months I think soon you should contact them.

Please write a letter to the Home Office asking for an update on your application and also explain to them that you need to sign the tenancy agreement.
The letter should be something like this (please check the highlighted areas and revise where necessary;

I made an application for Settlement Protection Route - Indefinite Leave to Remain on [insert date]. I submitted the application on 4th July 2020 and submitted my biometrics information on 18th August 2020.

However, I have not yet received a decision in my case/my family’s case. I would be grateful if this application could be considered as soon as possible.

I am waiting to sign the tenancy agreement with my housing association (insert the name of the association) and they need to see the proof of residency prior to signing any such agreement.

I am afraid that I will be made homeless, if I am unable to provide any proof. I see your guidance and support in this matter.

With this letter I attach the copy of my existing expired tenancy agreement and a copy of the letter demanding the need to sign a new tenancy agreement, including the requirements for proof of residency.
