Skilled Worker Set (O) - Misc. Questions in application

I am soon will be completing 5 years of residence in the UK and I am preparing to apply for ILR under the Tier 2 General SET(O) category. I have not started submitting the form on the website yet however I would like to review the comprehensive list of documents that I need to get ready with me. Can someone please redirect me to the forum/topic that has the latest list of document checklists?

I am applying for ILR under the Tier 2 General SET(O) category. I recently moved house and I have not received any utility bills with the new address yet. It will be few more weeks before I will receive the energy/water or council bill for the new address. I have a tenancy agreement though. Should I wait for the utility bills to be in my name before I apply for ILR? Is there a minimum requirement to live in the new house for the ILR application? Can I apply immediately just on the basis of the tenancy agreement? Please assist with this query.

Tier 2 General does not exist anymore. It is called the skilled worker route now.
Please do not start new posts and stick to this topic only.

You need:

• Your passport and BRP
• Latest payslip and bank statement
• An employer letter: All you need to know about the sponsor letter for Skilled Worker route
• Pass Life in the UK test

This route has no English language requirements for ILR. There is no proof of address requirement, there is no min living at an address, etc. Use form SET(O) for ILR

I have a question regarding the employer letter. If the employer is delaying the letter and not ready to issue the letter immediately rather the employer is asking the employee to wait few more months, what options does the employee have to apply to ILR? Is there any way out in such cases? Please advise.

You need the employer letter, it is a mandatory document. You don't have any other option.

My employer has actually issued 2 letters, one letter confirming that I am employed with the organisation along with my current Title and start date , also the letter has mentioned my current salary. Second letter has my Full Name, Title, Start Date, Passport Number, Nationality, SOC Code. Both these letters do not explicitly mention that I will be required in my current role for foreseeable future. Will those Two separate letters be enough for ILR application? Can those 2 letters be used as Employer Letter , although there is no explicit mention that I will be required in my current role for foreseeable future? Please advise

I arrived in the UK in November 2018 and am about to complete 5 years on Skilled Worker visa (a.k.a Tier 2). There are a few questions in the application form that are not clear to me and I need your assistance:

Question 1: The question is about the 'Country you lived in'. Should I also include the countries I visited for a short duration for tourism or business reasons? Should I also include my time in India as I have lived in India being a citizen since my birth?

Question 2: This question is about 'Sponsor license number'. Is there a way to find this number or I should get it from the most recent CoS document?

Question 3: The question is about the 'Home Office reference number'. I never applied for ILR before. This is the first I am applying to ILR although I have applied to the UK for a visit visa a few times before I arrived here in November 2018. What number should I include?

Question 4: The question is 'Does the period of stay on which this application was based include any leave granted since 11 January 2018?'. I have left the UK on annual leaves twice after I arrived in November 2018. What will be the answer to this question for me?

Yes, all countries lived in (not visiting)

Yes or ask your employer.

Not an important question. Simply use your current BRP number. The question is NOT about applying for ILR.

Question 4: The question is 'Does the period of stay on which this application was based include any leave granted since 11 January 2018?'. I have left the UK on annual leaves twice after I arrived in November 2018. What will be the answer to this question for me?

Answer yes if you have been granted a visa after the stated date in January 2018.

Question 5: About 'documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a maximum of two years)'. Does the the evidence need to be monthly bills or the evidence can be annual council bills for the last two years?

Question 5: About 'Verification consent', should we submit separate consents from each applicant and dependents ? My spouse, who is my dependent is also applying along me. I am the main applicant. Should we submit two separate consents from main applicant and my spouses? What about consents for dependent kids?

You need a selection of documents in both name or addressed individually from 3 to 6 different sources for every 3 to 4 months for the last two years.

There are 3 parts to the consent form. Part 1 you sign. Part 2 your spouse signs, Part 3 not relevant.

Question 7: Question about ' previous passports', should I upload the previous passport copies or do I need to submit the old passports in original along with the current passport? If I need to upload the scanned copies of my old passport, what pages of the old passport need to be scanned and uploaded?

Question 8: Question about 'Evidence of immigration status in the UK', I have a valid BRP, is this enough to use as evidence of evidence of immigration status?

Only passports covering the last 5 years. Only the stamps and biometric pages. BRP is the only document needed for immigration status

Question 9: I have included my daughter as part of my application. From the document checklist, I need to submit proof of my daughter's relationship status as my dependant child, what document can I produce to prove that my daughter is my dependent child?

Question 10: I have a follow-up question about the 'Home Office reference number' question. The guidance in the application form states this: "If you have previously made an application to remain in the UK, you can find a reference number on letters from the Home Office, called 'Our Ref' or 'Case ID'. If not known, select 'No'.". How should I interpret this in my situation? I don't know of any home office reference number for my Leave to Remain application either. Should I select "No" in this situation or where should I look to find it? Please advise.
