Hi I want to share my experience at Croydon PEO on 10 Oct 2016
Tier 1 General ILR application which was granted Aug 2010
Appointment was 1130am
Biometrics done straight away
Case gone under consideration at 315pm
Collection called at 430pm
ILR granted without any question asked

My case was bit complicated. ILR and previous extension was on employment (PAYE) income only. so no issues there. My first extension in August 2012 was mixture of PAYE and dividends from my limited company. PAYE again no issue. Dividend declared was 20K but shown in personal tax return 10K. Company year end was Dec 2012. I was quite worried about this matter. I got an accountant letter which showed reasons for this discrepancy which were post visa extension costs (Aug. to Dec 12) without any income increase. Case was nicely presented by my solicitor.
Plus points in my case. Same employment in all three application (full time employer has not changed) a lot of PAYE was paid. Accountant letter from same accountant.

I am feeling so relaxed now. I used this form a lot so you guys deserved a reply.

Alhamdulillah I got my ILR approved today at Cardiff PEO within 2.5 hrs of my appointment time.

As I mentioned before, I had lost one out of the three of my passports (second one).
I gave most of my Itinerary printouts, bank statements since i came to UK, GP letter mentioning my registration dates, some tenancy contracts, Council Tax Invoices.

As I was on Tier 1 Entrepreneur before my approval today, I took my business bank statements, contracts, invoices and some HMRC letters in case they asked me but that wasn't the case.

Got approval without any questions asked.

I was able to process my application without a Lawyer, thanks to this Board and its members who contribute so much information here.

From my experience I would like to share that it is best not to submit any unnecessary documents which aren't required for the application specially a covering letter.

Many thanks again.

1. Category.
ILR - 10 Years route
2. Number of dependents. Nil
3. Total cost. £2375
4. PEO branch. Crydon
5. Documents provided.
SET (LR) Version 03/16
Photograph x 2
fee payment confirmation
Premium Service appointment confirmation
national Passport x 2
current Biometric Residence Permit Card
Life in the UK Test report
original Degree Certificate from the UK
letter from employer
payslips for last three months
recent personal Bank Statements for three months
previous Home Office letter
Counterpart Driving Licence
6. Absences more than 180 days in any of the qualifying years. N/A - Max days 128 (provided reason and proof)
7. Any Additional Comments.
My case was very complicated. HO categorized me under Deception for not mentioning my Driving Offence in an application which was made in 2011. However, when I applied again for a different category visa in 2012 explaining the circumstance why I couldn't able to enclose the offence, HO accepted my reason and apology and granted me the leave to remain.

For this application, I mentioned the same reason for Deception and enclosed all the documents which I submitted in 2012. HO accepted my application an granted me ILR. Make sure you get legal advise for complicated case like this.

Appointment was at 930. Formalities were done by 10. My application went to consideration status at 10:30 and was approved at 14:30.

Good luck and happy to answer any questions you may have.

Congrats for ILR Approval. Just wondering if you could tell me how did u apply through PEO while on Tier 1 Ent route as according to my info only postal application is allowed for this route, I even tried to switch in the middle but told I am not eligible. Btw i applied for my ILR on 29 Apr 2016 (Tier 1 Ent-5 yr-200k Inv Route), almost six months now, still waiting. Pl guide

Thank you God! My ILR was approved recently at Solihull PEO. I would like to thank everyone active on this forum for sharing their diverse ILR stories; I found them useful when I was preparing for my ILR. Also, special thanks to the Admins: Vicky, Amber, and others; I learnt tremendously from their expertise.

Please see details below:

1. Category: Tier 2 General
2. Number of dependents: 0
3. Total cost: £2345
4. PSC branch: Solihull
5. Documents provided:
• Employer letter (only from current employer)
• Absence letter from employer (only 17 days in 5 years)
• Life in the UK test certificate
• UK Masters degree certificate (to meet English Language requirement)
• Last 3 months pay slips
• Last 3 months bank statement
• Last 3 years council tax bills
• 5 years P60 (not sure if it was necessary)

Any Additional Comments:

I have changed employer twice on Tier 2 General (without gap) within 5 years, and I applied 25 days prior to completing my 5 years on Tier 2. I went in at 10AM; the lady collected my documents (with photocopies). After few minutes I was called for biometrics and then I was asked to leave the building, to be called on mobile once my application is ready. At around 1PM I received a call saying my application was ready for collection. I rushed back there and the security man delivered the long awaited good news, handed back my original documents with ILR approval letter. I received my BRP 3 days later. I have been to 4 different PEOs over the last 8 years and can confirm that my best experience was at Solihull PEO. The Caseworkers are very friendly, professional, helpful, and efficient. I am happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Walaikum as Salam Shany,

Sorry if my post confused you. Just to clarify I got my ILR on basis of Long Residency i.e 10 Years Route which is available through PEO ( though my last visa prior to ILR was Tier 1 Ent 50K)

I hope you get positive result soon InshAllah.

Hi I want to share my experience at Cardiff PEO couple of weeks back. Sorry to get back late. I applied ILR on 10 year basis
I was on Tier 1 Ent 50K(one and half year)
Appointment was 1100am. Biometrics 1115am..Visa approved 12.45
got brp card within 5 working days
ILR granted without any question asked

I prepared my case myself. My case was straighforward with one refusal (t1 ent) with successful appeal. I submitted my covering letter, Application form, proof of payment, Life in UK, educational docs, personal bank statements and photocopies. I had almost every document for my business with me but caseworker didn't ask for anything. Feel free if you have any question and I wish you all best of luck :)

Dear all,

A quick message to thank everyone in the forum for their help. My PEO application on 18th November was successful and have been granted ILR. I have provided some information re: my application in case it helps anyone.

1. Category: ILR - 10 Years route (3.5 yrs Student visa, 2 yrs PSW and 4.5 yrs Tier 2 (General)).
2. Number of dependents. Nil
3. Total cost. £2375
4. PEO branch. Crydon
5. Documents provided.
SET (LR) Version 03/16
Photograph x 2
Premium Service appointment confirmation
Passport x 2
current Biometric Residence Permit Card
Life in the UK Test report
original Degree Certificate from the UK
letter from employer
payslips for last three months
recent personal Bank Statements for three months
Mortgage confirmation Letter and council tax bill as address proof (to evidence long term commitment to staying in the UK)
6. Absences more than 180 days in any of the qualifying years. N/A - Max days 140 (provided breakdown and reason - holiday/work)
7. Any Additional Comments.

I had a Drink Driving offence from 2011 which I had informed in all applications since then. Although its considered 'spent' under Rehabilitation Act (been 5 years since the ban), I reported this in the ILR application.

I wasn't sure if I had made all my previous applications within the period of my visa (before end date) so I made a Fast Track Subject Access Request which provided me all the details of previous applications and when they were submitted, this was helpful. More info on it can be found on: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... mmigration

Appointment was at 9.00. Formalities were done by 10. My application went to consideration status at 11:30 (apparently there was a delay in getting my biometric information from other agencies - probably because of the driving ban) and was approved at 12:15.

Good luck and happy to answer any questions you may have.
