Hi all

Got my ILR on 10 years basis at Liverpool.

My history is;
1- Student (Entry Clearance)
2- Student extension (overstayed 2 days while posting this extension, always mentioned in immigration history section of subsequent visa applications)
3- PSW
4- T1 Entrepreneur (Refused and later allowed in appeal)
5- T1 Entrepreneur extension
6- ILR on 10 years basis

I presented all my passports since entry clear with all stamps of entry/leaving the UK. My total days of absence in three different visits were 99 only. Presented my MSc degree for the English language requirement and Life in U.K. Test report. Applied within 28 days (it was 27th day back from full 10 years). Got successful decision within 3 hours.

1. Category: Tier 2 General (same as Migrant)
2. Number of dependents: 0
3. Total cost: 2887 (premium service)
4. PEO branch: Croydon

- UKNARIC
- 4 bank statements (stamped on each page by branch)
- 1 payslip (last month)
- 2 photographs
6. Absences more than 180 days in any of the qualifying years: No
7. Any Additional Comments:
I applied yesterday, 3 Nov 2017. I recommend that if you present a single payslip, which is possible, make sure the payslip transaction appears in your bank statement. I did not and during the application process I was required to send a screenshot of my latest bank transactions that included the money-in record for the payslip I presented. An email address and specific subject line was provided by staff. I was able to do this, so another recommendation is to bring a smartphone or similar device with battery fully charged and access to mobile banking. I presented a single payslip because previous payslips would have reflected periods of shared parental leave and thought could introduce confusion. I did not have to declare any information relating to shared parental leave because the application was made when I was back in payroll.

CW seems interested to match your salary details on your bank statement, with the payslips you provided. Therefore if you are providing 12 payslips, then provide 12 months bank statement, if 6 payslips then 6 months bank statement. Also make sure, your last salary details are covered in the bank statements you provided. And better to be honest, while giving them information about you.

Thanks.

Hi Optimisticme,

Many congrats.

Did you submit your employment letter stating "same pay for foreseeable future" ?

Is that mandatory to say "will be paid same pay in foreseeable future" in employment letter?

Regards,

I have been a silent reader of this particular thread for last two years and have been religiously reading every single post daily for last two months. After a long 9 years and 11 months, I was granted my Indefinite Leave to Remain yesterday in Croydon PEO centre.

1. Category. SET (LR)

2. Number of dependents. None

3. Total cost. £2.8k I think

4. PEO branch. Croydon

5. Documents provided.

- Passport x 2
- BRP
-Payment and appointment confirmation & SET (LR) forms
- Copy of first visa
- Letter from University confirming the dates I was registered a student and the courses completed.
- Certificates for each modules completed at university
- Transcript from ACCA confirming the results along with the dates completed (months)
-Letter from University confirming the completion of my Degree
-LIUK
-University Degree Certificate
- List of Absence from UK and travel Itinerary for each journey.
-Copy of PSW Visa and Tier 2 work permit visa x 2
- P60 for last five years with Tier 2 company
-Last 6 months payslips and 3 months statement
-Employment Letter
- GP Registration letter

I made a copy of each documents from my main file, which I submitted on a separate folder to the case worker (just making their life easy). When I got my originals back, I realised they had only kept some of the copies ( copy of all visas, payslips, bank statement, employment letter, university degree and LIUK cert)and returned the rest. I also had bank statements from two different bank for last 10 years, exam entry confirmations, my professional body subscription payment confirmation or last ten years. I informed the gentlemen who registered my case I had all these additional documents if need be as he didn't want me to include all those paperwork.

6. Absences more than 180 days in any of the qualifying years. None , 77 days in total actually

7. Any Additional Comments.

I had a 8:30 am appointment. So got there around 07:45 am. Decided to have a coffee as I thought it was too early to go in. Entered at 8:10 am, token number given at 08:20 am, case registered at 09:10 am, bio metrics taken at 09:35 am and decision received 11:23 am. I must admit it was one of the most stressful two hours of my life after the biometrics. Every time a token number was called, my heart would skip a beat. But after two hours when my number was finally called, it was a very difficult walk up to the counter 44. Once I got there I could see the documents were on the table, so I actually knew the results were in my favour shortly before I was told it was a good news and I was granted my ILR. I duly thanked the lady and did a survey. Once I walked out of the building I could feel a huge sense of relief and it felt like I was finally a free man. Tbh still have a big grin in my face whilst I am typing this.

Last but not the least, I would like to thank this board for being a tremendous support for last two years and practically being my best friend for emotional support for last two months. Thank you to all the admins and all the users, who posted their experience, for keeping me positive all these months.

iii. UK NARIC certificates for Indian Masters and Undergraduate degrees and original certificates (also had certificates stating that English proficiency was equivalent to level C1 – a total of 5 NARIC certificates – a bit overboard, but why not? it was all paid for!)
g. 7 months salary slips (since online was stamped and signed by HR)
h. 7 months bank statements (originals, with the latest month printed out in branch and stamped and signed there)
i. 5 years P60
6. Absences more than 180 days in any of the qualifying years: None
7. Any Additional Comments: no cover letter used. No questions asked at all.
Went in at 2:40 for 3 pm appointment, documents taken at 3:05; Biometrics at 3:30. Waited a long time (was last in line that day and there seemed to be some complicated cases - saw a couple of lawyers with thick binders). Only one case-worker (mine) was remaining around 5:30. Lights were being switched off. I was getting nervous as I was the only one left by then in the entire set up.Finally, CW gave the green signal at 5:50 pm.
Someone recently said that they saw their original documents on the table when they were called up and knew that their application was successful. I feel that this is a good observation. I saw a couple of people being called up but without their originals on the table and they were sent away to get more documents (overheard that it was lack of cohabitation document for a year in one case and absence of employer letter covering some period of work in the other). So, if the case worker calls you (towards the end of the expected time) and they have your originals, it is very likely that the application is granted.
Good luck y'all!

Hi
I wanted to share my experience to get ILR on the basis of 10 years you can have benefit from my experience.

Category: Tier 1 Entrepreneur To ILR
Number of dependents: 0
Tot. cost: £2887
PEO branch: Croydon
Documents provided:
Old Passports
Current Passport
BRP cards 1
Application form (1)
Appointment letter
Payment letter
Photographs 2
3 months bank statement personal
Life in the UK test (1)
UK Degree
Marriage Certificate (1) and birth certificate for dependent
Accountant Letter from Registered Accountant
Company information like current appointment reports
Company bank statements for 2 years
Paye statements for 1 year
Business contracts but I only provided one.
Company Accounts for last 3 years plus corporation tax but I did not provide them .

Keep all the business related documents but don’t provide all as they will ask if they need more. Keep the file as simple as possible. Went in at 10:00hrs, out at 15:00

No questions asked and after 5 hours they called me to collect the documents and told me that application was successful.

No need to hire any lawyer .
But Accountant is very important
Accountant letter should state following stuff.

1) When the investment was made as a director Loan
2) How many emoloyees and how many hours they do and pay rate
3) Tax details and company profit or loss for all the years .
Special thanks to Saxena for the details.
Regards
Raheel

Dear Goldenuk Congratulations....

Can you please give more details:

Where were your appointment? You applied after successful Tier 1 extension?

What documents case worker asked during 6 time?

My tier 1 extension application is still in process and my 10 years completed. My all documents are with home office. What documents you recommend, I should take with me?

I shall be thankful for your kind reply.
